My computer is about to bite the dust. tears
Now I am getting the BSOD, and have to manually turn the computer off and re-start. It gave me a list of stuff that caused it that James would probably understand, but it wouldn't let me copy it to show it to James. boohoo

If it dies on me I will call Junie and let her know.

Cindy----I will gladly relay messages for you, you know that, --but why not write down what the computer says & then retype it, so James can give yoiu his opinion that way ??----I know it would be time consuming but---you could "try"-- why

Yep, that's what I need to do. I had half a post typed here awhile ago and all of a sudden got the B.S.O.D. again and had to shut down. I just found my magnifying glasses awhile ago so I will write it down next time.

Wondering if this has anything to do with the fact that the battery in this laptop doesn't work anymore? why I have to always keep it plugged in now.

I need help!!! Last night when my computer shut down again and I got it back on most of the icons in the bottom right toolbar are GONE!!! shock There was a little round button there before that I used to turn the volume up and down...now it's gone and I can't turn the volume down...or up. I see volume icons in 2 of the keys on top of the keyboard, but they don't work.
Somebody please tell me how to fix this. boohoo

Also, when I start the computer now an error message comes on telling me some stuff won't work because it's not compatible with my browser and it tells me to get a newer version of Google Chrome. Do I just go to the Chrome site and download it over? ...or is there a place to upgrade what I have?

teach Follow directions from there...
Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't

I have the disk somewhere.
When I find it I will have to ask you how to do it.
