Tamara: Yep--that is the one good thing--there is always next year...

Well ladies & gents, I think I am going to go find lunch--then if ya dont see me, I am going to do some housecleaning.
We are going to take down the Christmas Decorations this weekend & I thought to begin to do some of it today & then clean as I go, mainly because there is a chance that my youngest & her DH might drop by tonight.

Cool beans!!!! thumbup

Been a long day here...have had 2 phlebotomies in the last 2 days. (That equals out to one a day...) My arms are getting a little tired of this...and the least they could do is fill the bird feeders that are outside the windows where you sit to have this done.

I just don't want my friends worrying about me when I'm in the hospital. It will be a regular part of my life from now on and I am getting used to it.....don't like it but getting used to it.

I am sorry, Cindy. But when you disappear quietly, we worry anyway, whether or not we know you are in hospital. Maybe even a little more.
Good morning. I have a long to-do list. Not sure what is going to get done.

Ok, I can see that, so then how about this:---just make a quick post that says: making a normal hospital run---or "gone for a few days--not to worry"---or some such comment Else we WILL worry--after all, it is what we do for each other--- I think it is good to know that someone has always got our backs. thumbup
AND in the age of computers & cell phones the distance involved is not really an issue.

Everything needs to be watered here; crops, grass, even construction projects, etc. We import lots of water and I have watched our basic desert climate change in my lifetime because of it. But today the humidity levels are in single digits.
Laundry is laundering and most of my stuff is ready to begin the new school year tomorrow. It was a nice long vacation.
