Its a a tool to explore and document wildlife and a platform to harness the power of citizen scientists everywhere.

You can join via Google, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo ID, Windows Live ID, and AOL. They have apps for Android and Iphones.

Its a lot of fun, taking photos, uploading them and getting help with id'ing.

Michele, I took a quick peek at the website. The photos are amazing. It looks like great fun for someone who frequently encounters interesting things in nature and is able to document them with photos.

It is a lovely site.

Everyone encounters interesting things in your backyard, front yard, on a walk, at a zoo and traveling. I would encourage everyone to join. You don't need a fancy camera and you don't need to know anything. Its a lot of fun.
