Good morning. For some reason I like Mondays. Maybe it is because I have all day Sunday to plan for them. The weather today is supposed to be miserable later on. It is already much cooler than it has been. I am not so fond of the cold.

coffeegood morning all...we are finally getting winter, whether we wanted it or not! It is hard to complain as we need the moisture, it is just that I was supposed to take my sister to Rapid City tomorrow for a check-up and we're not sure we're going to make it! boohoo We have our complaint list all written up about the hospital. If it waits too long our indignation will ebb! Hope everyone's day is Warm and Wonderful flwr

I do not care for the cold either, Tina. Yesterday after the winds died down it was fairly nice out--in the mid to upper 60's it was. Today the high is supposed to be about 48 it seemsd but so far it is sunny.

Soon I am off to my sister's house with my walker & my port a potty. She thinks she will only need help for a week or so but I am just glad that I have items that could help her.

I will see you all later-- wavy

And not in my direction either. We had some cold rain around and hail. Not too far above us has fresh snow. I think the rain is nearly done here.
But it was nice to sleep to for my nap.

Go ahead and send it my way. By the time it gets here it'll turn to rain and it will just be typical weather for us. It did get really cold last night. Was only 28 degrees this morning. I don't like temps below freezing but especially when it's moist. We'll be watching The Voice in a little bit and I want to keep reading my book for a while. Just checking in. Junie, glad to hear your sister is doing well. Cindy, yay for sleep, hope you get some more.

Good grief! The crocuses bloomed last month here (yes, January) and the daffodils are bloomed all over now. Sorry about your never-ending snow. We had snow here last week but the day after it snowed it was almost 70° here. wacky weather.....

I've been trying to get my nerve up to take my meds. My rheumatologist wants me to try Imuran ( Azathioprine) again....last time I took it in November (just one pill) I ended up in an ambulance choking on blood I was throwing up...I thought I was gonna die that day.

Gonna eat a bowl of chicken noodle soup then take it...wish me luck. nervous

Praying you are o,k, Cindy.

Well got my house cleaned top to bottom, cleaned my sis-in-law's house(she had surgery) then shoveled out my windows, shoveled the roof and now I can't get the tractor to start and my hand hurts like a 'son-of-a-&%#!@' ...wondering if someone is trying to tell me something.

My neighbor just stopped for a quick visit and told me to get a job...I'd work less haha

Good luck on new recipes Nana...and Nana and Tina, send the snow back to Bobbie lol .

I bet you should have either left the cast on OR not been working so hard.--and since I know you some, I would think to go with the leaving the cast on longer would of been a good choice. why

Just plowed the driveway...I'm running out of places to put the snow. The banks are so high that the snow keeps sliding down.

Just checking in...I am home from the ER finally.
Ten minutes after taking the pill I got very sick...my neighbor happened over to bring me some homemade soup and I kept throwing up and finally collapsed in the floor. She called an ambulance. My mom saw the ambulance pass and she said she had a feeling it was me...she called and I didn't answer my phone so she came up to the hospital. She stayed there all night with me. I hate putting my mom through that. tears

I am going to lay down now...thank you for caring about me.

OH Gracious Cindy--Thanks from me too for checking back in here.
I am glad that your neighbor happened in to help you. And Bless your mom--and not to worry, that is what momma's are for- I think that Dr needs to be responsible for your ER bill. docs

Cindy, glad your home and I hope you feel better. I'd be ripping that doctor a new one. Anytime I've ever had a bad reaction to something it gets listed as an allergy and never given to me again. I sure hope your doctor feels bad and can do something for you.

Morning all,
I agree that doc needs to pay for the ER bill and for your additional pain and suffering .. and your Mom needed to be there for you... glad you are home and hopefully getting some rest... thank goodness for your neighbor...

Well we didn't get the snow yet..mts got it all.. Thurs they say we will... almost 60* today... yes gotta love the crazy weather.. today is our Nicoli's specialist appt... so hopeing they can do something for us and him... checked out another store for his food and it's closer and less expensive so it will be the one we go to .. and they carry the flours I will need for bread... Yay!

Well off to finish getting ready.. don't know how long this will take today... so taking my book and dressing comfortable...

Nana

kissie Rest up and get well soon. Praying things start to go easier for you as soon as possible.

The sun is shining, a welcome sight. I got some of the snow banks cleared down and spread out further. Should have done long ago, lesson learned again for next year. Tractor is out of fuel so I guess I'll stay in and catch up on baking.
