Love these rugs!!!!! My mom made rugs like this constantly til her house burned....I love to see them. .....I should make one.....I think I will.........

I heard back from dodge and she asked me to post the directions for her.
Here is all you do ....cut material is 2inch strips and fold them so the raw end is inside. Press it . Then braid them like a normal braid. keep adding till it gets to the correct size for you . when its all braided , Start to roll it into a circle or oblong rug . As you do this, take heavy thread an sew the braids inside, so as not to have the thread show.
Or lookup How to hand braid an sew rugs online.
