This link will take you to a map of the U.S. ~ to the right is a list of birds,, click on the bird you'd like to see where it is most seen in the U.S. I wish they had a bigger list of birds though,, But it is pretty cool look at look here

We are getting birds here that we never had before...and some of the migratory birds are staying over Winter.
We are getting red bellied woodpeckers...never seen here before by our local birdwatcher group. (they keep us informed by an article in our local paper)

We are getting birds here that we never had before...and some of the migratory birds are staying over Winter.
We are getting red bellied woodpeckers...never seen here before by our local birdwatcher group. (they keep us informed by an article in our local paper) It would be interesting as to why this is happening,, a co=worker said her humming bird never left her yard since last march,, maybe because my area never really had a winter this year??

Angelblossom,how far from you is your co-worker? I wished my hummers would have stayed around all year! We haven't had much of a winter....I'm ready for all the birdies to come back!

She lives in Bedford Iggygal,,, Her back yard is like a bird sanctuary,, she has had pineapple sage blooming all "winter" as well as other flowers lots of trees and bushes,, and she has keep feeders up.
