Gas in my area is currently going for $4.24 a gallon for regular, but the price is expected to go up another 25-35 cents before the weekend is over. uhuhh

What are you paying for gasoline in your area?

They said on the news this morning that gas prices will actually go down a bit around here this weekend. Yesterday I paid $3.59 for credit for regular in NJ. It was $3.49 for cash.

It HAD gone down a bit, & Wednesday I paid $3.63 a gallon for regular here.
Then the next day it shot up to $3.89--because of the holiday
--like we are stupid or something--- rolz

It is usually about $.10 a gallon cheaper just over the river in Missouri, where my DH gets gas.

That will be pricey, Bill. Funny, I buy lots of booze and drink so little. I don't think I've had a drink for a year or so. I buy lots of gifts for my helpful friends.
Our gas is so structured to keep the ozone in place or the air cleaner or something. There is a winter mix and a summer mix in California. For the summer it is higher. It is almost always higher here than in much of the country. But there are benefits to living here as well. So I stay.

Good grief!!!!! I will have to start sending you care packages of Hornitos!!!! New Liquor Mart that opened up about 20 miles from me is cheaper than in Richmond and Lexington.

Gas is about $3.40 here I think...I don't really notice too much, I just buy it because I have to.

Got gas for $3.49/gal yesterday. I don't really pay much attention to the prices either. I fill the gas tank up every other Friday and it's got to last until the next payday. Tho, I just found out I have 20 cents off per gallon up to 20 gallons through my grocery store...so yay for that!

I think I paid $4.59 yesterday for premium and that was with my $.10 discount so regular is $4.49. I hate paying over $50 for my little car but at least I don't have to fill up often.

I wonder why it varies soooo much from state to state? Maybe the price it takes to refine crude oil from state to state,, seems so unfair how cheap it seems to be here in comparison to other states. It's got to be very difficult for very low income families to make it to work seems at least 1/3 of their paychecks would be just for gas egad

I am pretty happy today. I bought gas at $3.94. It has been weeks since it was under $4 and that was a very brief dip to $3.99 for under a week.
