They seem to take quite a while to spead here?? However when they are tall the winds may knock them over.
But i love them.. I have dark pink also

peonies will make a clump about 2 feet across. I love them. That is a fantastic flower you have there. They will fall over so I put a couple of stem holders around the clump and wire it to keep them upright. I also planted them in a protected spot. Not only to help keep them upright but also so the strong spring winds don't knock all the petals off early. So far I have a white and a pink one that bloom. I'm hoping one of the red ones will also bloom sometime soon. The gay paree never came up after all that hand wringing I did about purchasing it. That really put me off of spring hill nursery.

Very pretty, I have one also...I find they draw in ants though.

They turned out pretty dodge.
They don't spread here. At least mine never have. They don't fall over either. They droop a little but don't hit the grond.
