Bought this plant from a UK gardening and DIY store, was labelled as a butterfly palm. It looks more like a wild grass to me. Image is below. Can someone tell me what it actually is because I google images of butterfly palm and the leaves look very different. I know that with some plants when they are young they look a bit different but I would have expected it to start resembling the adult form by now (around 1 ft tall) My plany: The butterfly palm according to google.

Welcome totalwise. Most of my palms begin as a single, grass-like leaf. I would give this more time, I think. How old is your plant?
