Wouldn't it be nice if cats would just stick with mice and other creepy creatures?

Today the birds were standing on the edge of the nest. I thought it was going to happen any minute but not so far.

A cat got the baby birds on Rachel's porch (they hatched in her potted plant)...but the doves that made a nest on Brennan's basketball goal hatched and learned to fly without incident. Now she has another dove nesting in the same nest...(they will use a "used" nest. I didn't know that until now.). So, Brennan hasn't been able to play basketball all summer.

I sure hope your babies make it. I love birds!

It's a blood bath when a cat gets hold of a dove. Bird parts all over the driveway.

The wrens are standing on the edge of their nest flapping their wings this morning. Hope the cats are out shopping.

All the birds made it out alive.

I don't have cats but my neighbor does, and I hate it when they come prowling around my bird feeder and bird bath and big blue spruce.
