Yes, I do not get enough deer nibbling here to worry much. Just a couple every month or so that I see. And not much plant damage. I keep water out for them to drink from. But the small critters can devastate things,, ground squirrels are not my friends.

Good morning...

Our deer are few and far between, all the heavy hunting has thinned them out. Hunting them is illegal now so they can re-populate but the poachers haven't stopped.

More heat and sun today..I think I am going to have to hand water my garden haha

I am glad you are getting a rain break, Sunny. But sorry you have to water.
Welcome to a glimpse of my world.
Good morning. I woke early and decided to stay awake. Trying to get myself back on school schedule. It may just be a busy next few days until school starts on Wednesday. I think our summer is going to really begin on Tuesday. Both hot and humid. I don't move a lot in those conditions.

haha All that rain you had!!! Sorry you have to water, though, but you have to admit it is funny!!

OK, so we all have our critter problems,,,,we do not have any squirels in our town!! I think it is the antelope chomping down, I talked with my neighbor last night and she has seen the antelope in my front flower bed. I get them in back also, drinking out of the pond, but they don't bother the flowers back there! Guess I got the right stuff planted there! I was up early and it is way past time for me to get my you know what in gear and get something done!!

Have a Wonderful Sunday flwr

Good luck on your haying, Sunny. I am glad you have clear weather for that. I drove by fields of hay that were being cut the other day.
I got a lot done this morning already. And it is still morning here. I can say today is a good day.

No doctor tomorrow unless I'm half dead...I am just staying in the chair or bed with a heating pad on my neck, throat and ear.

Going back to the chair now...just got Lola in bed.

Again, Take care,Cindy.
I am done in. And it is too early to expect my son to accept bedtime. I guess I'll run his bath instead.

Tractor broke down..didn't get the hay in. Praying they have the part in stock today. I am really getting fed up with farming.

On a good note, today we will partly have our first meal from out of my garden. fresh potatoes, carrots, turnips, bean pods, and a salad with tomatoes and lettuce(cukes aren't ready yet lol )

I had to water last night lol oh well, trust me the rain is just around the corner.

BTW: grandbaby thinks the mini yellow tomatoes are the yuckiest berries that Grammie ever planted haha

Good morning. Congrats on your garden haul, Sunny. I hope your tractor is fixed asap. And without a major expense.

It is 91*F out right now so I'm guessing that is hotter enough. Too hot for me as well. The humidity has doubled from yesterday and supposed to be worse tomorrow. I am glad I have lots of indoor activities available to me. Including a nap which is next.
This morning I took in my school supplies for Ted's class. 3 large bins plus a variety of other bags and boxes. That was a lot of fun. Then a second trip to town to deliver a mess of aluminum ingots to my son. Fun stuff but very hot.

Another hot one for today..courier never brought the part...waiting to call the parts place and give them a piece of my mind. My hay has to be baled today or I will lose it.

I did get the grandbaby's dresser finished yesterday..all white for now until I decide what color to paint her room in the spring. Looks like new..great deal for $20.

Also need to throw in a cord of wood in the shed before the rain starts again tomorrow.

Is Ted waiting for school to start??

We are off later today in hopes of finding cooler weather! On our yearly motorcycle trip, north, into Montanta, going through a lot of northern Montana, including Glacier National Park. We may go up into Canada, so we've packed our passports. We don't have a set schedule as Ray is now retired! This is a first for us, we have always had a time-table we had to live within! But we will be gone 18-22 days!

Sis's surgery went great. Now it is a matter of healing, then radiation, which will not start for at least 2 weeks. She is such a trooper and I admire her fortitude! Along with thanking God for my health.

Your garden haul sounded heavenly, Sunflowers. So sorry about the tractor breaking down, and I do hope you get your part today!

Cindy, we've never met, but you remind me of my sis...take care of yourself,

See you in a couple of weeks!
flwr

Good Morning--is it bedtime yet??? I am exhauted--it will be so nice then the grandpuppies go home today. They are high maintance.

Golly, that is hot Sunny, esp for you. While we here would think we had a cool snap, lol I imagine that is really hot for you. be careful with it. That kind of heat can be dangerous. Sorry about the courior not arriving--people jsut do not care anymore, do they ??

Sunny, I vote leave the dresser a nice crisp white. You can change teh color by adding accents on the top to color co-ordinate. Like say a table-top scarf to match with the spread or curtains. why

Tina, what does your son do with the aluminum ignots??
Did you melt them down???

well folks, I am off to take my DH's truck to get it's oil changed---TTY all L

Good morning. I think Ted is ready for school. He has enjoyed this vacation. I made sure to throw in some fun for him during his month off. A trip to a natural museum and to the little local zoo kind of thing. We never did go camping, which had been a possible plan of mine. He had new videos to revue.
He is really fine with whatever is happening, school or home, and rarely bored.
Today we may make a trip to Walmart.
