Good morning. No school today for us. So it will be a lazy day to get ready for the short week. And it is to warm up through the week. More good things.

Tina, I saw something on the news about where you live and I can't remember what it was now. Fire? Flood? Is that where the cop has a hit list and was headed? I totally can't remember.

Bill is full of tricks.
We have no Hostess Lounge now....we have a Man Cave called "The Administorium".
At least I have a separate bathroom.

Its warmer here today, was supposed to go down to Toronto, but calling for freezing rain and then back to snow....like we dont already have enough!!

Had a busy weekend, Saturday we spent part of the day shovelling off our roof and the inlaws, with the weight of all that snow and if it does rain today...not good!!!!!!

Yesterday was my anniversary, so Brad and i went out for breakfast with friends,Brad had to do some things at the shop, so i started some peppers, tomatoes and basil....still have some more to start.

We went out for supper lastnight for our anniversary, was a nice dinner, and now its Monday and where the heck did the weekend go!!

Anyhow.....off to get some more coffee, so enjoy your day everyone.

"The Administorium". huh ?? I realize that Bill is not a "Hostess" but really, surely there is a better name--one you guys can agree upon. How about the Administrator's Lounge, or simply "The Lounge"

It is finally NOT raining !!!!

Yes, that scumbag ex-cop with mental issues was last seen running around in my mountains. He shot up cops in the town next door (Riverside). So maybe that was the news. We have not had any fires or floods lately.
I have made it a lazy morning. I need to do a few things this afternoon. Life is good though now that the flu is out of my house.

Cindy is very mysterious and has a LOT of names. Some get bleeped out when I type them.

Got to come home a little early and nap before I needed to start on dinner. That's exactly what I needed today. Probably won't be able to start thinking about running again for another five weeks, I'm optimistically hoping for three. I go to PT on Friday and should at least be cleared to use the elliptical. Not my favorite thing but better than nothing. When it comes to our Cindy, bleeping is a common thing, lol.

Thank you, Jimmy. He is pretty nuts. But the LAPD is looking over the case that got him fired and sent him over the edge. There are some questions about which side of the blue line he fell into.

Makes you wonder what happens in people's heads to make them do this stuff....just like Malcolm.

Stress and nerves can make people do awful things..some people just snap.

Snowed a bit through the night, sure looks pretty on the trees. I will be glad when February is over though...it is the worse month to deal with here physically and mentally. The 'blues/cabin fever' seems to hit hard on everyone you talk to here.

The sun is finally up here too. But frost warnings out there.

Its foggy and 42° here. It's still way to wet to do anything in the garden, but hopefully it won't be too long now...
Only 35 days 13 hours and 28 minutes left until spring!

It is 46* now. And sunny. Feeling better and better. I finally punched that send button on my tax filing. I was hesitant to get it done. But looking forward to the tax return now.

What the news here is saying police have him in a cabin near Big Bear he supposedly tied up a couple earlier not if in this cabin or somewhere else. Hope they get this bad character very soon.....

I am streaming KTLA they are saying there was an explosion @ the cabin then fire the cabin is fully involved.

I believe it is close.
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw it on the news.

It is across the valley from me up a mountain on the other side. Whatever is happening now is in a cabin about 35 miles away from me. They think they had him barricaded into a cabin. The cabin began to burn (gas canisters?). He may or may not be in there fried. Before this he tied up 2 women and stole their truck. They chased him down in the truck coming down the hill. He did shoot two sheriff officers and killed one. The second was in surgery and expected to survive. So that is murder in 3 different counties, LA, Riverside and San Bernardino.
I kind of hope it is over. My kid's school has been locked up for a few days.
I am so not into the state of the union address going on now. I prefer to read about or listen to the recaps of important parts.

does the state of the union address HAVE to be on every channel ? If you don't have cable you're screwed if you don't want to watch it. Even public television has it on. I too rather hear about it later on the high points.

Glad I have Direct TV can watch highlights on news and not be bored to death with the whole speech. Watching Grave Yard Carz and King of crash about demolition derby's

I am watching cable stations so that I do not have to watch The State of the Union---if that was all that was on, I would turn off the TV for sure !!!!

I hope it is him and that the police did not make another error. Him being dead is the best ending for this situation.
35 miles away is not very far. But far enough that I was not too worried. They have been searching in the Big Bear area for a few days. And that is where he was. He stole a vehicle and came down the hill about 10 miles before they caught up to him.
I settled on the Westminster Dog Show. At least for a few minutes.

BREAKING NEWS: LAPD Commander Andew Smith just announced at a press briefing that a body has NOT been found in the burning cabin in Big Bear.

The cabin has not yet been searched because of the fire that is continuing to smolder.

I just read that on the internet. Hope he is in there.

Wow...just took a pic of my hair to send to Rachel. It's almost totally grey now. I bet if I was in Bubba's and Bill came in he wouldn't even recognoze me...

They have said there was not a body found that they could prove was him. Sure hope it was him.
