This has been a long time coming,,Since Dwight passed away I've been driving his 2000 Daewoo Laganza. The Daewoo has gotten me back and forth to work with minor trouble and I will continue to keep it registered as long as it runs it's been good to me!
But today I got a 2009 VW Routan, It will be paid off in two years THEN I can get what I really want that I'd keep for a while!
The Boys are happy of course with a DVD player, moon roof and lots of charger plugs for their ipods and games BIG Plus on a road trip!. I'm Happy with the price ! I got them to knock off 2,500$ WOOHOO, I got up to walk out twice and both times they took the price down hee hee.. Plus they threw in the GAB insurance,( If I get in a wreck or it's stolen it will cover what MY car insurance doesn't so the car would be paid off!) I went in there with attitude that I'm not gonna get RAN OVER just cuz I'm a Woman,, I've done my Homework, I know what the car is worth. I know how much you'll make EVEN with 2500 taken off the price, Don't play me like a dummy! and it worked! I truly did my homework on this car! and I'm glad I did!
SO now the boys and I are Road Trip ready! WOOOOOOOHOOOO!

Thanks Nana,, I had the car fact report, How long it was a lease,,, approx how many miles were Highway miles, Blue Book value, etc, I really did my research, Even got NEW tires out of the deal! I've never gone to that extreme before when purchasing a car,, sure paid off to do it tho!

So when are you going to be here?

as soon as I can get a FULL week off work,, I figure 2 full days of traveling,, and I want at least 4 full days there and a day of rest before I go back to work, I already used my week vac when I was in the hospital Don't worry I'll get there!
When I called my insurance co, to add this car, they told me it cost more insurance to have an over head dvd player that because it can obstruct the view of the rearview mirror, so I called the dealer and they sent me to Car Toys. The dealership is going to switch out the over head DVD for two head rest dvd players,, WOOOOOOOHOOOOO,, I'm sooo glad I bought from them, they are hooking me up at no cost to me for the switch out!


I'd better get some coffee going,, Jimmy will be here soon to follow me to cartoys to drop my car off and get me back home,, and I've got to figure something out for dinner, Jimmy will stay here thru dinner so he can take me back and pick up my car!

Try for spring break next year maybe.

Thanks Sheri and Shirley I know it's your favorite color Shirley, It will take some time to get used to, I'm used to silver cars, always had one it seems,, But couldn't pass it up, perfect for the boys to grow in Except Tre who is 6'4" now,, his head hits the roof so he just reclines the seat back
