I'm such a stick in the mud. I never make the coffeehouse name rhyme...and think of all the possibilities that rhyme with 'two'.

not to worry, now I do not feel so alone--I have trouble rhyming the CH's too. But hey who says they have to rhyme, cant we just make them fun???

And Cindy,--I can think of a lot of names to give you, but stick-in-the-Mud is not one of them..... bow

Good morning. Mother Nature dumped warmth on us and I am not unhappy. I would prefer to see more rain though.
I have no plans for this day. I'm thinking some general house cleaning.

spring is not 1 day away here either, Sunny--By no means-- nono
The good news is it is above freezing--and that is good by me---I HAVE to drive about 1 hr away to take my taxes in to be done---and I am late as it is. last time I went the weather turned bad so I went back home...if I put it off today, I will be cutting it close to get them done. shock

Tina, glad it is warm but I do so wish for you that you would get your needed rain. DH thinks from the look of the ponds & rivers in the area, we are caught up. But I have not heard an official comment on that yet.

and OH!! Good Monday morning.

33 degrees and rain snowing. UGH.. this morning I had a flock of Robins digging around in the few bare spots. The Gees are on the river honking up a storm, but the weather is sure not cooperating. Just a piece of weather trivia, Here in Michigan last year on this day it was 79 degrees. shock

Good Evening All,

It is our anniversary today--36 years! Time flies... we went out to lunch/dinner at Red Lobster... it's LobsterFest... had a 10 dollar off coupon too so even saved some money...LOL!
We went for a drive too ... went thru a fancy old subdivision ... million dollar + homes... pretty but way over our price range for sure.... has a private lake and park...
then we went and looked at south denver area --- old houses and churches... love to look at old houses... it's a shame they are tearing some down and building way modern houses there... just look so very out of place with the older ones...

Tomorrow is Joe's birthday too... we are haveing a bbq for it.... should be fun!
Well off to finish watching Bones... good evening all!

Good morning wavy

I saw Robins here two or three weeks ago! But we actually had a very mild winter this year and even the trees thought spring had come early. But the return of winter may damage the early budding trees....hope it doesn't hurt the birds! But they sing every morning like spring. bop

I'm going to spend some time with my quilting friends this morning. They promised to have me back home in plenty of time to meet my grandson's school bus grin I'll feel like I'm playing hooky.

It's nasty outside, yesterday and today...suppose to be back up to about 60 again tomorrow!

Good morning. I rarely see any robins. But the hummers are here and hungry. They are all over my flowers. And taking baths in my sprinkler system.

I'm really glad, at least after Sunday, that I took spring break two weeks early lol... I'd have hated spring break with this, or after just a week of recoup lol...

I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to walk Trey to/from school today; he got yesterday off since I wasn't feeling too hot lol. I made it though, and the guy came for the final inspection for the solar too; totally going to try to go to bed early tonight and probably end up taking a nap tomorrow morning lol.

Lol I'd gladly take your snow... It used to snow here every year, just a couple of inches, I remember having plenty of snow days in my youth... Now adays it's just too warm, or if it does snow it never sticks...

We've had a few nice days but it's getting colder the rest of the week and then rain for the weekend. Yuck. I was going to put my peas out today but it's going to freeze tonight.
