Good Sunday Morning,, Man it's chilly out this morning,, it rained off and on yesterday. It's supposed to be low 30's high 45-50 this week, last week of March for this area of Tx is weird. Usually I've planted plenty of seeds or plants by now. Not gonna happen until after Easter this year. I did nothing yesterday. I sleep off and on all day. I absolutely had no energy. Now today I have to bust my behind to get all the housework done, and loads of laundry.. OH well at least I DID get rest yesterday  I'm gonna get breakfast started,, I think I'll make grits, eggs, biscuits and turkey sausage this morning, with some orange slices on the side. I bought some oranges the other day, they were the best juiciest oranges I've had in a long time.

Wow Diane, I wish I was having breakfast at your house!  It has been more like spring the last two or three days, yesterday was gorgeous.....today I got up and opened my door.......COLD and SLEET!! I think mother nature is sick, or just grumpy, or needs some coffee to get started, or something.

Diane, I love it when I can get ahold of some fruit that is really good. So much seems to be dry or tasteless. When they start bringing in produce to the little outdoor farmers market downtown I always get a huge back of grapes from this one particular vender. They are so sweet and juicy! But I get the same ones at the grocery and they are not as juicy and are sort of bland tasting. We must have good soil here locally, or something.

Biscuits n gravy for me and the dogs. Parrots get Biscuits grits and scrambled eggs. I will probably wind up giving most of mine to the dogs

Good Morning All. It is cold here.... and we have a good foot of snow out there... sun is out though but may not get warm enough to melt this stuff... it's not wet snow though very light .. Joe shoveled driveway and sidewalks yesterday after work... would have helped but my back is so bad with the weather changes making me hurt I am afraid to do it... It is spring break here this week for the kids... hopefully will warm up so they can enjoy the outdoors.. stil to early to do any gardening.. we wait til after Mother's day...do want to get a new rose for our front yard.. going to try to find a lavender one in my Mom's memory.. have a couple garden mats to put in the back yard on the slope... so hard to get anything to grow am going to try those... but has to warm up first.... Well off to get my breakfast now.... Jimmy and Diane you made me hungry.... Nana

This is the beginning of Ted's second week of spring break. But we spent the evening getting ready as though school is in. Trimmed nails and hair and I shaved him. It had been a couple of weeks without a shave and he was getting prickly. I like that he lets me do that.

Been snowing all day--it did slow down for a few hours this afternoon, but it otherwise it has been heavily snowing ALL day!!!! (there was just a dusting of snow on the ground at 9am) today. A young girl, my youngest DD's age, that lives in the next town to me just went out & measured the snow---she has 13 inches, so I assume we do too. It is still coming down constant & heavy.  I wish everyone a good (& warm) nights sleep.

You would think WE were in the "Windy City" here! Rain and wind. All the fruit trees bloomed 4 days ago. I dont think I'll be making plum jelly or canning peaches this year. Have to wait for the muscadines.

I'm so glad I don't live where all of you with the snow lives!!! I hate winter. It snowed here all day yesterday but it was only two or three inches, which has melted a lot overnight but it is icy. The schools are closed in this county. My DI will be picking me up to take me over to stay the day with my grand children and their sleepovers !! I'm taking my book and my quilting.

I think I'd rather have snow than tornadoes....maybe that's why we get about 14 ft of it every Winter. Pay off for not living in Kentucky

I have to agree with Sunny--I would rather have snow as tornados---and you all know how I hate snow !!! yawing here---I think it is nap time----

We don't get a lot of snow, if any here; no tornado's either. It rains a bit, but doesn't usually get too hot for too long... Did I mention the rain?

I choose to live on the San Andreas fault. Not much snow, not often much rain, rarely tornadoes (and those are wimpy).
