This afternoon I made the boys come out side and Plant, Not just plant But Mix compost with bonemeal and soil, then dig out areas and plan and plant a flower bed, we planted White then Burgandy then White clematis in the back against the fence planted two blue salvia in front of each white clematis to keep clematis roots cool Planted a knock out rose in front of the burgundy clematis planted a Zinnia patch, and transplanted some iris's,, ![[Linked Image]](http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss241/2thtek2/newgarden1_zpsc6a0aa6c.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss241/2thtek2/a26d633a-cea9-4477-9ede-edbe24f8339e_zpsd74f32e7.jpg) Yep I explained why we planted each plant where,, why we mixed the soil, why we used bonemeal and some super phosphate.. Oh we also did a topsy turvy tomato plant,, we'll see if that works,, ![[Linked Image]](http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss241/2thtek2/tomato_zps1ac06eea.jpg)

Looks terrific! How did they like helping? I see you placed some gnomes out there - will there be any Willy Village, even if it's small?

Let me know how the topsy turvy tomato plant does. I may get one someday.
Oh, and send the boys to my house this summer so they can do my yard too please?

Oh, everything looks so pretty. And will be even prettier as everything grows. That's nice that you are instructing the boys as they help. I miss the Village!

I love that you said you "made" them come out like you had to get out the whip.

I did make them,, they wanted to play the Xbox,, Time to get outside and learn something and get fresh air. At first the two oldest grumbled a bit,, But I put them in charge of the wheel borrow and mixing the soil,, Next thing I knew they wanted to help plan where to plant what,,, Amazing what fresh air and good soil will do for the soul,
