Do you have some sort of shelter place you can go to be safe? I don't imagine you have a basement?

no we are in my walk in closet sitting on the floor Julian crying,, tre is holding him,, we live 5 minutes from parks Mall,, they told everyone at the Mall to stay there and get on the lower levels,, sirens blowing long and loud,,

alright then,,,,, It's past us now,, but Whewwwwwwwwww that one was close!!!!!!!! we are still under a watch intil 1 am

Glad you're safe and sound, Diane. Today was my last day at my job. It feels really strange to think I won't be getting up in the morning to go to work anymore. Been there 9 years and have wanted to quit many times over the years. I think I picked the perfect time to do it. I'll miss the people, not the job. It'll be nice, with everything else that's going on, to not have to worry about job stress on top of everything else.

Cheryl,, I know you did what you needed to do for you,, it's gonna feel weird not getting up and going to work for a while huh?

When I got up this morning,, I discovered many plants(pots) were blown off my table outside and broken,, Guess I have to go at lunch time today and buy some more pots and repot plants when I get home,. the little flower garden the boys and I made was a mess,, but better plants be a mess than house blown away.. I'll have to check the fences after I get off work, it's too dark out side right now.

We don't have Tornado's or Hurricanes here in Portland, OR; the valley we're in ultimately keeps anything like that away

we are aaway from the tornados....down right on the gulf, but the water was choppy yesterday

that's behind the mc donalds. lol I take ashley to mc donalds everyday for a french fry and that's at the back of the building

Good afternoon. The hardest part of my Friday is done. All that is left is a nap and then dinner and the rest of the evening stuff.

Just got back from the hospital in Lexington....had several tests done. THEN...I met Rachel and Brennan for lunch and we hung out for 2 hours. I've got to get a picture of Brennan on here...you would not believe how my little garden helper has grown up. It's so sad for me. I just want him to stay 4 years old forever.

I have a better one for you---How did our girls get to be adults, HUH ??? I can still feel my valarie's habd in mine when she was 4---she is now 33 + .

I am however so glad that you got to spend some time with them.

Hi all,

Spent the day at Carrie's.. it's Joseph's 19th birthday today... gave him money toward the weight set it wants to buy...he is happy... she had to work today... Jon was off but went fishing with his brother so I kept kids and cleaned house a little for her.. she isn't feeling well at all but is having Timothy's birthday party.. 3 friends over to spend the night- pizza party...hoped they have fun...

Well I need to make us some dinner... Joe is watering the flowers in front... my roses are greening up nicely now... got to get some food on them this weekend... well kitchen is calling... have a good evening all....
