Another one for the Holiday weekend.

Good Morning,,
It's so nice to know I don't have to work tomorrow,, I don't have anything planned for the day or tomorrow,, Just going to be lazy for the next 2 days

Had a less than stellar visit today so I went and got my cartilage pierced. Just put me in the nut house now. Other than that, mostly a lazy day.

I am sorry, Cheryl. I hope the rest of your day perks up for you.

Oh Cheryl---you have my sympathies---BUT as Diane says, one day at a time, one day at a time----and I agree with her, you will be alright. In the mean time, we are all here for you, so never forget, you are not alone.

I think I am going to call it an early night.

Good Morning,, only a 4 day work week,, I think I can handle that,,

yes, a 4 day week---any week that does not have a Monday in it is a good thing..Don't work too hard Diane---

Ceramics for me today---and then I have to run some errands for my DH---Then tonight apparently we are painting---mind you we only painted about 4 or 5 hours all weekend...

Good morning. I need to get some house work type things done today. Our temps are to go up to the 100's by the weekend. I probably won't move much then.
I hope all have a good short week.

wweeeeeeeeeeee today went fast at work,, hope the same for the rest of the work week..

Good Morning ,, Jimmy is having a surgical procedure done this morning,, he will be in over night,and released tomorrow, Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

and may I say, while I will be sad when my daughter moves back home--(3 hours away) I will not be sad to see her 2 large dogs go. When she is not here, they think I should get up and take them out--only instead of 6 like their Momma does, they think I should take them out at 5, because that is when Rod gets up...

many errands and a Drs. visit today----nothing wrong, just a check-up.

We are up early - Timothy's continuation from grade school is this morning at 8 so we are leaving in a few minutes to get good seats...gym isn't very big and there will be 10 of us...LOL!
Going out for breakfast afterwards...
Woke up to the ground wet and smelling so good... don't know who much it rained but it is nice... don't have to water today... Yay!

Well off to finish getting ready and take meds....have a good day all....!

Carol If my dogs hear any human movement before I let them out at 5:30 am,, they feel they have to go outside at that time too,,, which means they whine and whine until I get up to let them out so I feel ya on that!

Thanks everyone for Thinking of Jimmy today, He was taken to his room around 4 today he says he is sore but other wise feels good, they placed 3 stints,, I told him don't go running the halls,, and we all know he will give the nurses a hard time :wink:

We are all very proud of Timothy- he got all A's and B's too... did a last report on the Spartan's , made a model out of scrap wood we had.. did a report on the battles and did a presentation too... his teacher was very impressed and gave him the highest grades in the whole 6th grade... said it was high school quality work... the other day when I was cleaning out my office I found his journal from 2nd grade and gave it to him, he got tickled at his lack of spelling ability and the things he loved in second grade... did a whole 3 pages on Halloween... they do grow up so fast!

More prayers going out for Jimmy... hope he doesn't give the nurses to hard a time... and takes it easy too... got my candle lit for him...

We got a call from our house insurance people and they told us they could give us a lower rate since we got a new roof.. evidently a new program... so took our paperwork in and it saved us 800 a yr... yippee! that is half what it was before... so that was really worth finding the receipts for the roof and signing a paper .. took 15 minutes.... took longer for me to find the paperwork on the roof!

We had some rain today... enough to water the yards and flowers nicely... my iris are blooming like crazy... they get so heavy they fall over so I have been cutting them and bringing them in- don't last long but they are pretty... it snowed up at 10,000 feet too... gotta love spring in the Rockies.

Well off to clean up the kitchen, made chicken and dumplings from a receipe I found online... came out rather nicely- course I added a few things to "George" it up as my Mom would have said.. seemed rather bland to me .. so added some parsley to the dumplings and to the broth some extra chicken stock I had in freezer... and some sage and more pepper... Joe said he would eat it again so it's a keeper... was easy too so that's a plus...

Have a good evening all... 6 was early so am headed to bed soon as kitchen is done... will have boys tomorrow afternoon ,time to organize our summer reading and keeping up with school stuff... so have to look up spelling lists and such...

I heard from Jimmy this morning,, he is not being released today,, I told him probably because he doesn't have anyone at home to help him,, so another day is a good thing, to help get his strength back,

Thank you everyone when Dr. came by this morning he said put in 6 stints because he found some bad arteries that were about to fail...Got home around 3;30

Power was out for well over an hour, & we do not know why....
good news it is back on now--but I cannot go to sleep, & yet I am so very tired.

I woke up @ 3 am with excruciating leg cramps - about sent me thru the roof, I finally walked them 'out' laid back down and the alarm went off gonna be a tired Friday, But at least it is Friday

We have Solar now to help cut on energy costs, but we don't have a generator so when the power is out it's still out; that's something I'm going to have to look up eventually... Ideally I'd like to have a battery bank that's charged from the panels that will kick in when the power goes out, but with how they have to have it configured with the power company it's not *technically* feasable to have it wired that way...

We "have" to have it installed as: Solar -> Inverter -> Power Company -> Us; so technically I'm "supposed" to charge it with power from them versus what I generate...
