Tried to clean up the yard this morning heat got to me so staying in recliner rest of day

I know Jimmy,, I was going to plant my two new plants but went to the store, by the time I got home it was too hot to even think about it. I will have to do it first thing tomorrow morning tho no matter what.

I dodged raindrops to work outdoors. At least until the rumbling began. Then I decided indoors was best. I also went to the store for some of Teddy's special foodstuffs.
I have pulled pork sandwiches for dinner tonight.

I have a southwest chicken recipe in the crockpot. One more hour and the smell is driving me mad.

I just ate some smoked halibut from the beach that I got last weekend; unfortunately I accidentally left my chipotle cream cheese in the freezer at my ex's parent's house out there lol...

It sprinkled a little bit this morning, I didn't believe my client who stopped by till I saw it myself; haven't really seen the rain out here lately...

I do love a good adventure ...

I just had the most scariest dream, No Monsters or aliens, just the govt coming into homes and dividing us,, I was with a group of people for a few days and getting to know them while we were like at rufuges camps, then something happened and we all got divided again and there was chaos and I lost my first group and was with another group of people and we had to walk and walk. Some chaos happened again and I found my self being approached by two ladies from the first group, and asked me, isn't this your cell phone and wallet? Yes it was,, so we sat down in some church pews, and plugged in my cell phone . she said it won't work the same the govt had put some sensor in it or something and she couldn't get her images out of it although it wasn't pictures and you could only see her image(s) if the cell phone was off . Next thing I knew I was pounding on my door of the house Dwight and I lived in. He opened and excitedly said HI,, and we went to the kitchen where he had cooked and told me to eat. It was then I realized I'd been gone a year, yet he didn't question my being gone so long, but seemed really pleased that I was 'home'. For some reason we went out side it was getting dark and the neighbor was leaving his drive way. Dwight and I were hugging, he said I want to be with you forever, I've missed you. Dwight suddenly Yelled HEY!!!!!, to someone that ran across our lawn and another person behind him,, Dwight went to chase them , then another car skidded out of our neighbors drive way, Dwight chased it. As Dwight came back up the drive way more men were running through our yard and down the hill. Dwight picked up a fairly large rock and threw it down the hill at the group of guys. One guy was running back UP the hill to confront Dwight, they scrapped they rolled back down the hill and all the guys jumped on Dwight and was beating him. I grabbed Emmy, she was beside me standing there as a child would, literally on her two hind legs, looking up at me, I grabbed her paw an said get inside get inside, I locked the door. I knew I couldn't call police or ambulance to help Dwight, because the govt would know I was Home, and I wasn't supposed to be home. I felt a loss of what to do, sad, scared, and now Awake.
That dream felt so real that when I first woke up I went to the window and looked out, it was only then I realized it was just a dream.
Weird!!

Wow Diane, when I first saw that you had posted on here at 3:00am I was going to say "What was you doing up and on here instead of sleeping
but now I see why!! What a dream! But, it doesn't seem impossible to me, the way things are going with our Gov.

That was a horrible dream Diane.
I get some but not like that one. Usually wake up when the worst is to happen.LOL''Dont eat before you go to bed it gives most folks bad dreams.
Remember when we were kids an we kept dreaming of the balls rolling when we were sick?

OH my Diane--so sorry for such a dream. I am glad that you got to see Dwight, but so sad for the dream itself.

I woke up this morning & I was all congested, so I had to get up- oh well...

I hope that you get some sleep today...

I slept in this morning,, just got up, but head is tight, I must have clenched my teeth last night cuz my jaw feels like I've chewed gum all night.

Wow! There hasn't been anyone in here all day since almost 11 this morning!

Gosh we missed her.
I was out crusin with my sis . Took her for a drive about 50 miles away an back.. Just a nice area our deceased husbands used to take us.. She was delighted..
And the day was pleasant not hot. Best part.
I aren't usually online sundays afternoons. Everyone has family time I think,

I did not do much today worth writing about. A little cleanup and laundry and dishes. We ate on leftovers tonight with salads and watermelon. Ready for the new week to begin.

See I had sort of upset stomach an runners . Told her I could not eat. Only had chicken soup at lunch. She ate out the nite before so she was satisfied.
Stopped at her place an had Her Blue berry pie she made.
Also took home her Roast chicken she didn't finish for lunch.LOL

I am glad you did not get a direct hit, Sunny. Keep safe.
Dodge, I do laundry as I need, not on specific days. In the summer I choose the cooler days when I am able. It is something I actually enjoy doing. And,for me, it is a family thing because Teddy and I do it together. He jumps in to help and has specific parts that are his to do. So family time can be what you make of it.

If I hadn't retired today I would be back at work. Year round schools started today and I'm glad I'm here instead of there. I do miss the $$ though.

I do laundry almost every day. There are just 2 of us but somehow we dirty a lot of clothes. Johnny does change when he gets home from work and then if he works in the yard he might change again to go out to eat and I put on clothes to go to the garden every day and with the humidity I have to shower and change when I come back in soooo I guess it does add up. Johnny isn't allowed to touch the washing machine so it's up to me to get it done. He can't seem to get the detergent from the cabinet into the washer without getting it every where else too. It may be intentional so he doesn't have to do any laundry Maybe he's smarter than I think. :wink:

Good morning. Had trouble getting up this morning but I made it to work in time and had enough time to stop by Starbucks to help me wake up. I did a trail run on Friday and still can't walk properly. Whoops.

Most of my adventures involve nothing but scenery... I have a collection of paintings that I've been aquiring since I was like 13 that're pretty much just landscapes...

I'm pretty bored this AM; normally Sunday nights Trey's mom brings him home from bi-weekend visits but this week is one of her 1 week summer visits so he won't be home until this next Sunday... I'm going to go crazy; it's too quiet.

When we where kids we used to play with chalk in the street, the neighbor used to come over all whiney about how we where making his street look like trash... Kinda sounds like fun...
