I got up before the alarm went off this morning. I got on line, fooled around the house, made my lunch, watched tv, let the dogs out, watered my plants, looked at the clock and thought WOW that time went fast!,
I ended up at work an hour early, I thought the clock read 6:40.. actually it was 5:40,, sat in the parking lot for 1/2 hour before anyone showed up,

going to bed, maybe this time I'll sleep until the alarm goes off

Supposed to be another HOT day here..and I have a full day of yard work to do

good Morning Sunny,, we are headed back up to triple digits here as well,, I have an appt this morning before I go to work. On My lunch break I need to go buy some cactus soil and perlite to pot my plumeria up in. I also need to buy super bloom 10-50-10 , I hope I can find it

Good morning. I slept well and long last night. And also slept in a little later than my usual this morning. It is supposed to warm up the rest of the week. I guess our weird weather pattern is breaking up. It was lovely.

Diane - Miracle Grow stopped making their 10-50-10 a few years ago. I haven't been able to find anything to replace it, so if you come upon something please let me know, so my plummies can thrive also! Thanks!

no I didn't get another one decided to see what this one does... They said they get them in every year, so next year I will see about getting another one. I wil let you know if I find the 10-50-10 Lynne

They are predicting some weather in the 80's the next few days--I SOOOO hope they are right----I could use some cool weather--I really need to do some "catch up" outdoors. :wink:

Good morning. I just heard on the news we may get rain 20% which more than likely we won't. It will just get humid and muggy instead

We got rain yesterday afternoon and all evening..and we needed it. They had shut down all work for men in the woods, scared of forest fires starting.

Weather has cooled down a bit today but thundershowers for the early afternoon and evening.

I am behind on yard work also..mind you our lawns are burned badly, yet the weeds seem to be growing nicely

Cold fronts all around!! I just went outside---it is BEAUTIFUL !! 64*F--wow--I am in heaven !!!! The high is only supposed to be like 78 !!! I think tonight is the day that I will work outside, I have weeding & mulching to do !!!! (cant today as I have to go help my sister.)

I will be working outdoors today as well. At least this morning. I will hide from the sun and it's heat this afternoon. Get Ted all cleaned up for a doctor visit tomorrow. That will make for a good day.

We are home... still putting stuff away.. laundry to do yet.. been doing other stuff .. Carrie adopted a Yorkie while we were in Sierra Vista.. mostly for Derek he loves him... he is getting groomed today... while we were gone the cooler fell out of their window.. off the chains actually- so Jon and Joe fixed that yesterday... so glad it didn't break... still works.. poor Joseph couldn't get it back up by himself... he got sick too so has been in bed most of time.. summer cold/flu.. at least it didn't hit before his summer school was over..

Well have to run to Walmart soon so got to get ready- need hangers and some other stuff that's a lot cheaper there...have a good day all.

Just happened to look out the window at the exact time one of my cats jumped up and grabbed a bird off the bird bath. Poor bird.

Got all my errands run and laundry going.. it is hot and humid today here.. hoping we get some rain... it's sticky!

Sheri, your cats do what cats do... natural order of things.. Carrie had a cat that would bring birds in the house alive.. brought a baby crow in once.. that was a hard bird to catch in the house with 2 toddlers a baby and a cat and 2 dogs all trying to "help" !!!!

I dislike dead 'gifts' from cats. But I dislike live ones even more.
It has been a good day. It is supposed to warm up to triples the next couple of days and then cool back down for the weekend. We really have had a mellow summer so far. Now that I have mentioned it, I hope I haven't jinxed it.

Good morning Having my first cup.

Covers felt good last night. Only suppose to be 80 today. I'm glad that 90+ degrees is over for awhile. But I told someone the other day that I won't complain about the heat because all winter I waited for it to get warm, with longing!!! I HATE cold winter!!
So I will gladly take anything that's thrown at me after winter!

Today I am going to go up the street a few blocks to a ceramics place and try to finish painting a dragon incense burner. Then I'll come home and quilt. Might walk downtown to the farmers market and see if they have something I want. They usually do.
Yesterday I picked some tomatoes and corn out of a quilting friends garden out in the country. I know that's going to taste good. I'll probably have a fresh tomato sandwich for lunch.

I swear!!!! About every other day Webkinz is "Unavailable" while they do stuff, that usually winds up making no sense and driving me crazy!!!

Yes Dodge I am nicely located. I can walk to CVS, mini market, downtown, farmers market, bank, post office, library, clothing store, cafes, movies, limited shopping. Some of that is pretty far, but that keeps the weight off and my heart healthy. I'm stuck at home a lot of the time in winter....good quilting weather though.

Only someone has to come and take me to the big grocery to do my monthly shopping.
