A Gardeners Forum Forums General Discussion New Members Thought it was high time I stopped by to say HI!

Well, I thought it was about time to stop by the New Members forum and say hi. I've really enjoyed the Gardener's Forum because everyone seems to get involved and is very helpful.

A little about myself, originally from Texas, (Go Dallas Cowboys!). Born in Houston, lived in Liberty, DeSoto , Duncanville, and Irving. Moved to NW Ark, then Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Told my husband that he was NOT getting this southern girl any further north than this right here!

All my kids and grandkids are back in NW Arkansas and hopefully, one day, I will be back there or at least closer than now. Grandkids love coming here and I do get them from time to time, but not nearly enough!

Have a dog, Shar Pei, Lucy Lou and a tom cat, Pooter. Three guesses why we named him Pooter! Anyway, I work out of my house and used to drive to work in Dallas on 635, that was a nightmare, this is a blessing!

I love flowers/plants, fishing, spring and summer, solar lights at night and a summer evening glass of wine on the deck.

That's about it and more than I've said on line about myself ever... I'm glad to have found this forum!

To find The Current CoffeeHouse----go to the first page--the "General Discussion" area.

as you look at all the forums you will see one called "Banter Hall" click on it and then a new list of Forums will come up. down below the list of these subforums you will see, there will be another list of threads----near the top you will see various threads--one will be called Coffeehouse
. The current one is CoffeeHouse 2416. Click on it & introduce yourslef--we talk of many different things there--from our every day lives to whatever we wish. After 100 posts, someone starts a new Coffeehouse--with the next number--

mj--I just looked & could not find it--BUT I was certain that I had already welcomed you to the Forum & explained to you where I live. But I shall start all over again. I live about 45 minutes NE of St. Louis.--Just a bit off of I55. Where is that in relation to you ???

Welcome, mj. I'm a southern girl myself. Southern California, that is.
I think the easiest way to find the most current coffee house is to click on Active Topics in the top bar. That brings you to the newest posts in all forums and then the CH is there somewhere on the list.

You are all so very helpful and welcoming! I shall meet you at the coffee house!
