Nana, you are a model to all of us. Being a part of their lives like you are is quite an example and I admire you greatly.
Your blankets are beautiful! And your grandkids very lucky.

Sheri, those are indeed beautiful blankets. Your grandchildren will remember them (and you) for a very long time.
I made my grandson a blanket--I embroidered one and then I added the fleece backing to it to hide the stitches. I have no idea where it is now...I do not see his mommy use it..

Thanks Carol... I hope your daughter kept the blanket... I bet she put it away cause it was to pretty... I remember the pictures... ask her... I talked to my granddaughter today- she is still hanging in there.. one more week and they will take her off the drugs and let her labor happen cause she will be 36 weeks.. she is miserable- swollen and can't sleep .. they have had her on steroids to help the baby's lungs too so that wrecks havoc with her emotions too... but she is hanging in- poor kid...

Your welcome Sherri, and yes she probably did put it away, I saw the blanket her sister knit for her--very soft & very pretty---I should look in the container it is in I guess...Best wishes for you and your Granddaughter. Sounds like it will not be long now...
