I have only grown them from plants, Barb--the color is really something !!! Good growing !!!

Dodge did you plant the seeds this spring or before winter?? I've never know anyone that grew dahlia's from seeds that is so AWESOME!

I plant them this spring.. Start them indoors about 6 or 8 weeks ahead.
I must go check my stash an see if there are any left.

dodge, is that color true or did the camera change it? Sometimes the color of a flower in my picture looks a lot lighter or darker. Because that's a very pretty color.

Yes the cameras aren't always true.
Terrible with purples an deep colors..

Got another , as well as a Nikon.. Nikon for distance is great.

I also have a small pocket camera I mess with .might be Samsung..

We got those cameras in 2007 I think. Mine still takes great pictures if I don't need the flash. I'm giving it to Colby for practice. He takes good pics for a 10 year old but won't take care of a new one. I hated to have to get a new one. I never learned all the bells and whistles of the old one.

Colby has an IPad and an IPod. I think they both take pictures but he loves playing with my camera. I guess it's different and of course it's big compared to his equipment. He's taken some nice pictures of my yard and cats. He's artistic.

That's a good idea. I have two saved. I'll have to see if I can find them. Guess I need to ask if it's ok. I'll PM Diane and Carole.
