Monday was a perfect day.
Tuesday was a disaster.

Tearing a barn door apart to fix . Stepped backward right on a nail.
Went in an got clean (I think) An drove to medwell
They looked at it an said it wasn't anything nasty. I asked for a tetnus shot for the future .
Got that.. All cost me $10. with my cardhospitalization.
Lasts 7 to 10 years they say. Told them it might outlive me..LOL

It was not too nasty my nurse turned out to be a friend from my church.. We had a good chat.
Feeling much better today. Just mowed the lawn with a rider mower.

That's it.

Glad you got the tetnus--that will keep you safe for many a year---I am thinking...Sheri would know-- :wink:

I stepped on a nail when I was a kid--Mom cleaned it out & took me to the Dr the next day--he looked at it, checked it out said I was ok---a week or so down the road, my foot was red & swollen---Dad opened up the wound & out possed a big old piece of paint & all kinds of puss- but the tetnus shot kept me safe.

Oh Man,, OUCH, I bet that hurt Brave Woman driving your self, Bless your heart! I do think it's ten years, I had to get a tetnus shot a couple of years ago cut myself at work got 10 stitches.

Yep it's ten yrs cause I had to get one last yr as a booster and cause I couldn't remember when I got one last... my doc is big on keeping up with the boosters.. no matter how old we get...

I cut my hand on a glass one time.. doing dishes.. yrs ago... went to ER and doc was going to sew it up, after he numbed it... nurse came in and looked at it just before he was ready to stitch and noticed he hadn't gotten a piece of glass out of it... found out later he had a bad rep as a doc... and very bad vision...she called in another doc and he sewed it after he recleaned it... that would have been very painful if it had stayed in.. glad she was checking up on him... nurses know who the bad docs are....

Cooking porkchops tonit for dinner and some pasta salad,, it's hot today as promised- but now it's windy and cloudy too.. weird weather...

Didn't have to go get Derek after school, evidently they ate store bought chicken last night and it was bad.. all had tummy aches.. poor Timba even ate some... so they all stayed home from school today... hope tomorrow is better for all of them....

I cleaned some today and took a nap... still playing catch up from being up half the night when Timothy went to ER...

Well off to get chops in oven and watch the news....

Just fine.. No infection. closed like only a pin hole.
Yesterday I walked on it all day an no pain or swelling.

I am ok

Fighting with my floor sweeper right now . It doesn't suck ..LOL cant say it sucks.LOL

I am really laughing here, Barb--that is funny about the sweeper. well what you said is funny--But I am sorry it is not working properly.
