Hi Everyone
I'm new to this forum and I'm from a semi-rural coastal village in Scotland And I'm thinking of starting an Organic Seaweed Fertiliser business to create some jobs for some people in my village and for myself. I've been on a couple of gardening forums to try to find out if people would buy it or not and would really appreciate some feedback - here's some more information.
We would collect beach-cast seaweed (with permission) and put it in barrels with filtered water for up to 2 months to let it naturally decompose - the big companies put seaweed through either a heat process, chemical process, or physical extraction process, all of which compromise the nutrients and goodness of the product.
We would also remove litter from the area from which we would collect the seaweed
It would also be ready made so you wouldn't have to dilute it. It would also be cheaper than the other concentrate/extracts available on the market.
Here are some questions: Would you by our product over the other ones on the market? (Quality vs quantity) If so, would you use it for house plants or outside garden/plants? How often would you buy it?
Any feedback or any input whatsoever would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks

I am actually looking for seaweed extract, as I am growing plumerias, and the wise people in the groups on Facebook all use it on their plants. However, I don't think I would pay postage from Scotland, so that could be a big problem.
