Hooray Cindy... Another winner here.. See how it grows under neglect ? I do not pamper mine.. Sheris is in great shape an will fill in each spring to greater pieces. Good luck growing simples flowers.. Don't think much Christmas cactus is out in spring stores.

well ok so what am I doing wrong...mine get little more than water once aweek or perhaps a bit less often....They face a west window...But really other than a small east fasing wondow that is it for light in the house. I still think in the spring I will still combine a pot or 2, just to see if that helps if nothing else.

Never had mine in west windows at all. Indirect light mostly an not directly in the windows. Side of them yes. You can pinch the ends of them an root them in water for new plants to add. Pinch where the first scallop ends , put them in water an wait.. I think you try too hard....

I might be able to find one at Lowe's. Today a lady told me she bought 2 there for $10.00 so I'm going to look Monday. I don't think mine is big enough to start pinching.
I don't water mine often Junie. Not nearly every week.

well I was wondering about that. Barb sent me several cuttings too years back--They are in a pot with a few I got from Lynne. They have really grown, but still no blooms. How often do you water your cactus ???

ok then I am most very likely watering too much, as I water every week when I water my other plants. Thanks so much for the heads up.
