Thanks Barb,,
I am faking some tummy trouble right now to delay us going shopping -- son is having a bunch of over the hill ballons delivered to him and they were supposed to be here and hour ago... still waiting ... he fell asleep in his chair so I am good for the moment-.... LOL! This surprise stuff is wearing me out....! Nana

Well it was the delivery company keeping us all in suspense... they showed up just before 5 our time... he was very surprised.. those of you who facebook can see the pic will try and add it here too... I must have texted my son 10 times.. he paid extra for a specific delivery time so got that refunded.... but was worth it to see look on Joe's face... now to keep the birthday party secret till Sat.... good thing he doesn't know how to text and how often I was texting while in the "bathroom" LOL! Another good thing is I have connected with a lot of his family on facebook too... didn't know how many of them were on there now... I looked out in my little front rose garden and my tulips are sending up shoots and my crocus are blooming... so spring is on it's way here for sure- though we are supposed to get some snow on Fri... that is springtime in the Rockie's.. snow one day 70 the next.... Well off to peel some taters to fry up for his birthday dinner- he is bbqing steaks and wants fried taters to go with- only do them once in a while for him... and use coconut oil now too so at least they are not to bad for us.... Yes Tina,, he loves his beef and taters... as soon as we retire officially we are both going to walk more and eat a lot more salads... and hopefully lose some weight and feel better ... I am going to try and get at least some lettuce planted in boxes this year... haven't really gardened in years but now will have more help with it... may try a couple tomato plants too but they don't do to well here so we will see ...
Taters are cooking... smelling good too and Joe has grill heating....

Wow , go easy on beef an tators. I am thinking it clogged my hubbys arteries badly as well as a neighbors, Had a stroke before he reached 60.. He butchered beef weekly an loved Hamburgers,
However , perhaps it runs in the genes.. Hubbys family , all 8 of them had diabetes an artery clogging.
