The funniest thing happened this morning. I opened the front window downstairs after Don left to drive Amy to music school - he makes some stinky coffee - I don't like coffee at all, but this really turns my stomach for some reason...
soooooooo... Amber jumped into the windowsill, and along comes a hummingbird... right up in her face at the screen - UP FRONT AND PERSONAL!!!![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/LynneNY/clipart2/hummerflying.gif) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/LynneNY/other%20smilies/kittysmilie.gif)
It just kept flying around at the screen for a few minutes, taunting her. Dancing back and forth in her face! I think Amber was in shock - she never meowed, or whined, or even moved!!! I was sooooooo surprised and tried not to laugh out loud and scare it away.
It finally sat down at the feeder a few feet away, and had a nice long drink, til another hummer came and chased it away. It was one of those moments where I was in the right place at the right time to see it - toooooooo funny!

Hummers are quite the brave little fellows. If they run from you it's not fear, but more aggravation, and not wanting to be bothered at the time.
