I woke up this morning and my water is CLEAR!!!!!! I could see my new koi fish that have finally decided to survive - I thought maybe a cat went fishing when I wasn't around. I put that second filter in and hooked up my UV Clarifier so I guess that was the difference. I was so amazed I about fell in water :) My little pond plants have babies coming off of them and I have trillions of tadpoles swimming around. It's such a huge difference from when I started.
Next I am going to line the botton with pond pebbles and I will be DONE!! Time to go wading :)
Thanks everyone who gave me advice for this - I was clueless.
ND - they posted links on making filters and someone also suggested algeafix - I did both and I got a UV Clarifier. I don't know which one did it but it works :)
Here are some links to the pond - maybe this will work better than putting the pictures on the post.
Thanks :) I am so amazed that I actually was able to get it that clear. I think my fish are amazed too. It will look really good once I get the pebbles on the bottom. I worked on that a bit tonight but I need more rock so it didn't get done. I think my lily pads died tho - they are all brown and gross looking...
