He stepped in to his auto started the engine an died behind the wheel.??
His wife found him dead.
Today was the funeral.........It was a hard day for us folks here.
Glad its over.

OH MY I am sorry for your loss Barb. A death is always a sad & hard thing.
Not that this helps any, but that also happened to my Husband's Uncle. he was backing out the garage and went straight across the road & hit a car....thing was he had had a heart attack & died once he had the car in reverse.

I get this ugly feeling in myself when I have to do this stuff.
I hate go go an hate not to go.
One of the girls was so happy to see me she threw her arms around me an picked me off the floor/LOL An aren't skinny. She was a strong nurse.

well, first, I do not think anyone LIKES to go to funerals & the like...BUT we do what he should do. so, kudos to you.

Thanks carol , sunflowers an Sheri, Yes I do try to hold other widows up when their time comes.. No fun. But the hugs was enough .
