I have a friend in Brookdale .. She has oodles of posies.

I only have a few flowering shrubs left. I feel bad having so much water available when so much of my state is in such a severe drought.

OH my. This lady I know lives across from Ronald Reagan Library an yes the water shortage Is there.
She lives on an alley way an folks keep adding to her collection. She has sent me loads of things...She used to work for a florist.

Pretty dodge. I used to have a shamrock that lived outside. I think when they cut down a big tree for the road that the sun got it.

The burgundy one, sent sent me one tiny bulb ..Look at it now.. I keep it in the shade outside when its non freezing. An bring it in before frost.

I have one from a small bulb that you once sent me Barb, IF I can ever get my camera to work on this computer I will take a picture of it for you.

yes it is the burgundy one, Barb. Yes I have a cell phone and it takes photos...but we have no internet on ours. We share a plan with our kids & for some reason they said "we cannot get an 1phone so as to have the internet capabilities and I cannot ever send photos..it seems it would cost me $2.00 to send each photo...well, since I pay for my portion of the bill, I would think I could make that decision.
But the last time I used it they disabled that with this phone...and since I am supposed to be their child, the company let them.

Rod & I figure the next time we get new phones we will have to get our own & such...

Problems no matter where we are.
I am on cricket an with the sons family.
However I am having a problem with message. ONe
I could take photos an download them to the computer.
Suddenly yesterday it quit an it wont release the email an I cant delete it no matter what.
Ever couple hours it chimes an lets me know it cant send it.. Daaaaaaa Son was here yesterday an we thought it was ok..NOPE..........

Lots of folks so tomatoes out here in pots.. flowers an many things. See not everyone is a farmer.. ALL my bros an sisters were town folks........My son is too. He likes the easy life.

mine is not as big as yours barb. it grows new shoots all the time but then the old pieces die off...

I'll probably end up planting mine outside in the shade when it warms up.

36 years ago I had a green one that had pink flowers. I planted it out & it died on me.

My burgundy one from Dodge has 2 tiny pink flowers..YAY !!!

It grows all the time--but if 2 grow out new, 3 die off...
and FYI: there are a few more blooms...so yes I am happy indeed.

Oh boy.

The shamrock dodge sent way back when, bloomed again this year. I leave it outside all year in a pot.

I think I need to repot mine from Dodge. It grows well, but it has been awhile since it has flowered.

It is indoors all year here. The outside weather would kill it I am sure.

Has it gotten too big for the pot? I haven't ever repotted this one.

no it has not gotten too big for the pot..........but I think the soil is depleted of nutrients. I guess I could just use plant food.....Thanks for making me think....
