Happy Thursday morning everyone. I think the sun may be shining here today.

Good morning, the sun is shining here also but the wind makes it feel like November....brrr.

I ran errands yesterday as well as taking grandgirl to preschool....only 12 travelling days left. I am also slowly going to go back to work, one day a week to start off. I'll only take part time in the end by the Fall but the extra $ will be nice to have again.

Hope everyone is having a good day. We got a little rain that we needed. I haven't done a lot of anything today.

Did I say, ? Emily & Micah visited me today. That little 7 month old guy is beginning to be more vetbal now a days. And he smiles at me. Life is good.

It is secretarial work for the home care facility I used to work for...I can do one day a week paperwork in my home, then add every second weekend at the office when DH will be home....then add two days a week when Grandbaby starts school. I'll only need 2 hrs of daycare twice a week so my mom will do that.

That sounds like a very nice arrangement. Good for you.

I have a couple of years worth of food in the house. I lucked out most of the day but it really started raining when I left. Glad it is raining but not so much when I have to be out in it. And my van got rinsed off.

I'm on my way to Tina's to eat some of that food...fresh fruit by the bowls

It rained all day and it is now calling for snow flurries tonight...Mother Nature needs to give it a rest already.

Note to everyone...don't buy cheap towels from Walmart, after two pre-washes they still have more woolies than a mammoth.

I hope it stays above freezing for you, Sunny. I don't have much fruit right now, Just apples, oranges and bananas. I am waiting for local stone fruits to start producing.

Or better yet, stop by onyor way home. You can bring me some fruit.

Valarie bought me some clothes. A soft outfit to go home in, a soft knit night gown & sweatshirt jacket. And, OH, the cutest China bowl full of Hen's & Chicks !! Such a sweetheart.

Did I say, my Emily brought me a book ( she says it is used, but I think not- it is hard bound) and an actual card..Emily does not often do cards. And a big tube of tooth paste.

So when are you going to get to wear that soft outfit home, Carol? Any ideas yet what their plans are for you?

I was told that there was a meeting held about me. They say if things keep progressing as I have been, Therapy will stop May 29. Which means that I will be discharged on May 30.
I hope that is so.

There is a Care Plan Meeting on Tuesday. I will know more then.

We stayed just above freezing but they got snow West of us.

Tina, no more surgery now until after June 5th my lungs did not cooperate with recovery.

Valarie & Henry are coming back today at some point. They will stop on their way back home.

Oh, I do have a small watermelon tucked away in the fridge. I forgot that. First of the season.

Don't know why I wake up so early when I don't have to... been awake since 4 ... that is just crazy... so glad you got such nice presents and good visits too Carol... hope all is going well and you get to go home as planned...

Woke up to more rain coming down- went to sleep to it too... our poor yard is so wet... can't plant anything in this mud... the weather guy said the other day we had had 20 days of rain out of the last 22.. been 3 more since... mother nature answered somebodies prayers for rain... but wish she had kept it to once or twice a week - not every day!

We are going to son's today for his older daughters graduation party- bet we end up inside though... they live North of us and even get more rain than we do... should be nice though... be good to have whole family together again..

Well off to make some breakfast and see what else I can get up to... have a good day all....

I made a large batch of baked beans with bacon today. A salad and rolls to go with. It was lovely and helped warm the house. It was rainy when I put it in the oven this morning. There will be leftovers to freeze for a several meals this summer.

Sweet dreams all. It has been a long and productive day. But I'm tired.

I have more outdoor work to catch up on today....I need to get my veggie garden ready for planting my potatoes next week.

I have a 5 pound sack of seed potatoes that will never get planted. I so wish I could give them to you. I will not be using them.

Good morning. I tried to get in earlier but the site couldn't open. But I'm here now. I am still trying do decide what to do with my day. But I hope everyone has a lovely day.

DH came today. Stayed a long time & was nice. Even took me to see the court yard here. It was just overcast with a cool breeze. Very nice indeed.
He was headed home to grocery shop for tomorrow. He is making himself a good meal & is making enough for him to eat good again the next day as well.
