Everyone's sharing pictures and stories of their four legged family members, so I figured I would jump right in.. :)

In this first picture we have 4 of the 5 children running rampant.

First up is Shika...She's my Shiba Inu. A Shiba Inu had been my dream dog for a long time...but they are pretty hard to find in my area. I bought her from a lady who just could not handle Shika's temperament. She is a very hyper and active dog, and I LOVE her.

Next up is the big cat looking at the camera. That's Naala. We got her from a friend who was moving to California, and could not take her with him. She is the definition of 'Scaredy Cat'. She wants attention, but will run as soon as you reach to pet her. But once she finally gets under your hand, she's she for a while.

Behind her is Nubia, our Blue Russian that we adopted from the City Animal Shelter. She is the self crowned 'Diva' of the brood. Everything has to be just right for her. Very finicky, but very sweet.

Then the big guy with the whit paws by the window, that is Sir Bootise Kollins. Boots, as we call him, was a stray. He used to hang around our house when we first moved in. He'd be under our car, hanging around our windows. One day, we were grilling and he came and meowed around the grilling station. When we went in to eat he ran in behind us and the rest as they say is history. I checked around to see if he belonged to anyone and no one knew him. He is by far the most affectionate cat I have ever known.




and This guy is Dhusti. He's the 'Elder' of the group. Dhusti's 11 years old, and my partner has had him since he was a pup. As you can see, the poor guy has a cataract in his right eye. He's such a hyper dude for his age.




Well, those are my kids...lol didn't mean to take up so much time..lol

Good looking animals Nick. That last one Dhusti looks just liker our Barney dog we had so long. He had lost one eye when we got him and he was Mister Attitude was one of the besrt dogs we have had he was real good with kids loved them all. Lost him at about 18 years best the vet good guess as he was old we we got him and had him over 10 years at the time of his death.

Cute doggies & kitties you have Nick! I have a Blue Russian named Smokey, she is very finicky too, but very loyal & sweet also. Love the pic how they are on all 4 corners of the bed, great timing!

Oh yes...Nubia is a doll...and will chase anything that lands on the floor...If we had mice, she'd make a wonderful hunter. The other two, not so much...lol Nubia really loves the laser pen, though I don't know who really loves it more, her or Shika, the Shiba. LOL I must say it is truly HILARIOUS to watch a dog chase a laser.

Do you get a spot on the bed?

Smokey will chase anything too! She loves when a fly or moth gets inside, it is hilarious watching her chasing it! She chases the laser light too. My hubby plays with her a lot using the laser. That is cool our Blue Russian cats have so much in common. :kitt:

Rarely do we get first pick at our spots in bed..lol We upgraded to a King Size bed and there STILL isn't enough room for the zoo. :duhh:

don't feel bad. with 3 kids, 3 dogs, and 3 cats, there have been times :lala:

this is my Baby Girl she is a good doggy follows me every where.
