A new one for a new month as well.

My computer froze on me yesterday..I hope it's not catching. Poor Junie.

I have been under the weather with a stomach bug of some sort...I do hope it leaves soon.

yes poor me---SIL only half fixed this computer (the desk top)...it has no Office/word or even note pad or even adobe flash player. How am I supposed to "do" any work on it ??? Gracious it does not even have any anti-virus. what IS a girl to do ???

but for now, it is Tuesday--YAY
and tonight Rod was invited to go out to eat with his cousins--so of course we will--as a result, I do not have to cook...

I don't know what's up with my computer or this site. Only this site locks up my desktop to the point where I don't even log on her much anymore. I can't figure out what's going on.

Juniegirl, you need an antivirus for sure.

This site causes me the most problems as well. I am not sure what the issues are though. And it's why I only drop in once in a while during the day.
I have put in a full day already. It may be nap time.

Ditto for the problems on this site as well, in fact if it wasn't for you all I would have stopped coming here long ago.

I hate Facebook with a passion so here I stay.

I think it has to do with the ads that pop up on each page? I get warnings about flash player.

What I meant was that my flash is sometimes not up to date and the videos on the ads caused me problems. On this site only.
Do install Adobe Flash.
I slept so well. My dog had me up once wanting to go out and I went right back to sleep. I love sleeping so well.

I will install it. There is a button when I go to Publishers clearing house page (I'm gonna win the $7,000 a week for life after all... ) But as I do not trust anything any more--I will just Google it & install it.

I got my e-mails from Dell, and my box--so this afternoon, I will box it up and send it back--Lord knows I do not want to--but I will...

Yes, I trust nothing, too. For an anti-virus, I love my AVG Free. It has kept my computers clean for over 15 years now.
I am home for the day. One more day of school this week and then a four day weekend. There is school on Friday but Teddy is going to stay home. There is a concert up at the park on Fri-Sun. I am not driving anywhere this weekend. Then Monday is Labor Day and school is out.

ok so AVG is how I will go--AVG & Avast is the same 6thing, right ???

this evening I will download Adobe player. for the desk top.

Hopefully I can get my SIL over here--(they are going to install a word program for me..or something--since I do not "need" Microsoft office. I think I am going to have to price that program, save for it & install it myself...

No, I think AVG is different than Avast.

Good afternoon, the sun is shining and we are making hay. I also have to put in all my wood for the Winter by the weekend. I wish their were two of me.

Baking is all done and I am off to bring GG for her sleepover.

I washed up my dishes (the ones I do by hand) I am currently cleaning out my dishwasher..I use vinegar..and I have baked crackers.
You take a sleeve of regular saltines, dip them in melted butter mixed with season salt & some Italian se3asoning..& bake them at 275 for like 20 minutes--I made it 30 minutes..

they are not bad---but mainly I baked most of them dry---as if you ate one they were kinda chewy--(a cheap generic brand)
The plain ones taste like premium saltines. I am a happy camper...
I also washed the dogs bowls...

next is a transplant of some plants...

would somone come and pack up my lap top so I can mail it off to Dell ??? PLEASE........ I have no idea why I am afraid to do it----

I am done for the long weekend. I told them at Ted's school he wouldn't be there tomorrow because of the concert at the park. It is going to be a mess tomorrow through Sunday. I'm not going to attempt going out or in through it all. And then Monday is Labor Day so no school.
I like the schedule it gives me, 4 days of school, 4 days off followed by another 4 of school. It suits us both.

Plants are transplanted, & put where they belong.
Empty pots are washed & whole mess (& believe me I made a mess) is cleaned up. Now I need to take apart the dining room table so I can wash the table cloth.....perhaps tomorrow.

It sounds like you had a busy day, Carol. And productive too. I like days like that. I had one as well. Tomorrow my day will start with laundry. And whatever else I decide to do.

Good morning. Laundry will begin my day. Then I don't know beyond. It stays dark longer into the morning than it use to do. It is kind of sad.

I hate that about the dark times versus the light times.
My Dh had a time change at work. So now, in the winter he will go to work in the dark & come home in the dark..poor guy.


On the bright side, he gets to sleep a half hour in the morning.

Not to mention that I feel like we didn't have summer this year----

Going to see my sister is on the to-do list for today.

I finally got all my Winter's wood in and and piled to the rafters..it's a good feeling.

I am now making a spaghetti sauce and will give my house a good scrubbing and mopping than off I go to pick up GG from her sleepover.

I am home from my sister's. My pork roast is in the oven. I think next on the agenda is downloading Adobe flash player.

Firewood will happen after most of the cleanup happens. Priorities. I still have a bunch in the woodshed.
Laundry is done. I'm going to eat some lunch.

Today was not as productive as yesterday. But somethings got done. And I am tired. Sweet dreams all.

Good morning. It is nice to need a sweatshirt in the mornings. Our summer is not over but we are getting a taste of fall. Today I will get some more raking done on my hillside. And some cooking done inside. I will also get my flag up outside.

ah yes, the flag--thanks for reminding me. I will have to remind Rod---he puts out the flag.

Good morning. second load of bed clothes in the washer & the first in the dryer. I have had my shower & Rod's bathroom is cleaned. Soon I will go do the grocery shopping.

Hi all, I have been missing in action from following DH to a horse haul. There is another today, the last of the season but it is so tiring having to deal with GG who thinks she can roam where she wants among strangers and strange horses.

I opted to stay home and do laundry...the grass will get cut in a few minutes as well. I am liking the cooler mornings as well but this strange heat has been never ending this year.

I am thinking that your GG needs some time at home to relax so you can, Sunny. Good luck mowing today.

NO special goings on here this weekend.
Rod got lunch at home...now we are waiting to be hungry so he can grill some brat burgers and I will cook some corn on the cob. THAT & chips will be our big cook out meal for the weekend. Tomorrow will be Taco Crunch or Frozen Pizza.

I'm making mac & cheese tonight for those that do. Tomorrow is supposed to be triple digits so I'm thinking just sandwiches.
