Good Morning.
That is a good idea, Tina. The rest would be welcomed here as well.

I think we are all glad to see Friday...even us non party people lol

I never liked deer meat but DH wouldn't mind having some. Sad part is that we have deer in our pasture but it is illegal to hunt in our area. The hunters have to drive at least 4 hrs to get to the southern part of the province where it is legal to shoot bucks only.

Either way I am guaranteed at least three days of not cooking any meals lol Thinking I might just buy some t.v. dinners for myself.

It flurried today....it makes the air smell so fresh.

I am not a deer meat fan either--
BUT if it is ground with 1/3 pork added (for the fat) I can hardly tell the difference from ground beef.

I envy you the 3 days of no cooking. IF Rod were leaving, I would make a bog pot of soup (or chili) & just eat that.
However, I myself like the weight-watcher smart ones frozen meals. Heat & eat is a wonderful thing, I must say.

Emily brought me over some Thompson's water seal. Now, if it were only 55*F I could paint the deck.

I do like venison but it depends on what it is. Sometimes it is too gamy. Then I am not a fan.
I am home for the day. And tired. I'm going to nap.

I agree. One year I was commenting that the deer was esp. good. I was told the deer in question was likely eating in the corn fields.

Yes, it depends on what they eat or are fed. I even don't like forage fed beef sometimes.
I took a nap today. I feel pretty human.

Our weather is lovely. I didn't plant a fall garden but I'm already contemplating the spring garden. I'm going to have the garden spot turned over a time or two before it freezes to try and kill some of the bug larvae and then I'm going to pile all the leaves, and that's a LOT of leaves, on this area, then turn it over again in the spring. Maybe I'll get good green beans next year.

Sheri, Tina: Those both sound like lovely ideas.
I wish you both the best of luck. Sheri remember to tell us how all of your efforts turned out, OK ?

I am off to get ready to go to my cousin's daughter's wedding. I wish everyone a great rest of the day.

I did all my laundry today, clothes and towels. I paired up about 20 pairs of socks and everything is put away. Tomorrow will be bedding and such. I cooked a dinner that pleased everyone and cleaned up after.
It has been a good day.

Good late morning.

DH has left to go deer hunting...I'll have a quiet week. Well, I'll have lots of barn work to do but no big meals that need to be cooked.

I hope you have great success with your gardens, I am already thinking of mine for next year as well. I added lime this Fall already.

A very good day, Carol.
My day did not go as planned. My bank card number was used today while I was sleeping (about 75 times). It was declined and now canceled and I have to go to the bank and get a new one tomorrow. So other than some lost time, nothing really.
But the bedding is washed and all I have to do is Teddy's bath and my shower. I am looking forward to it.

glad they caught your bank card problem, and glad that all is well now. Sorry you have to make an extra trip to the bank now but if that is the only issue then all is well IMO.

YAY for fresh bedding though. !! that is one of my favorite things.

Wow, that is scary Tina...I am glad that it was caught in time.

I'll take some fresh bedding also...I stripped the beds and washed everything but I haven't put it all back together yet.

It is just slightly frustrating. It takes 10 minutes to get a new card from my bank.
I'm going to crawl into my bed now. It is a busy day tomorrow.

I just did some cleaning in my bedroom. Now it is coffee & computer time. Then I have bookwork to do, so I can begin to think about Christmas Shopping.

No Christmas shopping for me to speak of. Most of my kids get cash. That leaves me with Teddy. He's tough.
And I had a very good morning. And now I am home for the day and going to nap.

Hello Hello, I actually get most of a day off around here for a change, my little dude is in daycare today (he only goes one day a week) and hubby took the little one down town for a language study. So strange and quiet. Still not getting much down around here, some work for the PD class I'm doing and lots of napping and enjoying quiet.

Welcome back Shani.

I did my errands, a bit of Christmas shopping as well....then came home to barn work and a horse who won't stop kicking the doors. I swear animals are just like stubborn children. I'll probably have a door to repair by morning. rolz

Good morning.

Junie, the horse is used to following DH around in the cow barn but she is too much work to be following me around so I just lock the two of them out behind me when feeding the cows. She has shown me she is not impressed lol

The weather is getting colder by the day..we seem to get flurries in the morning with the frost. One thing about it is the air smells so fresh...it is wonderful.

Good morning. It is funny to think about you being harassed by a pesky horse while you're trying do get things done. Did they break the door last night?
I got a full 8 hours last night. I barely know what to do with myself. I hope everyone has a good day.

No Tina, but she gave it a good skinning. lol DH has them spoiled so they think they can follow the same routine.

I gave up on the t.v. dinner thing, how in the world people can live on processed foods amazes me. At the moment I have a large pan of onions and celery cooking up to make some glazed chicken.

I'm whupped with you Tina....rest sounds good.

I'm just staining up some new pine board hat racks that I made this afternoon. DH had skip hats hung up all over the entrance with those white stick up hooks...none were even or spaced right. So I cut and sanded some boards and am using horse shoe nails for hooks thumbup

Which of us is the most OCD? I'm watching a house renovation show and when they were hanging the clothes in the new closet the man said he likes his shirts hung by color and descending sleeve length. He wasn't kidding.
