Hehe, thank you; it was a busy day, and I had both of the kiddos (Trey until 6, when his mom picked him up for her weekend, and Aubree until 8p when her mom got her [since it's a holiday in our custody agreement, the weekend visit with her mom didn't start until 8]). Marionberry Pie made for a really good birthday "cake", and was interesting with candles, lol.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marionberry
The 'Marion' cultivar (Rubus L. subgenus Rubus) or Marion blackberry, is an indigenous blackberry developed by the USDA ARS breeding program in cooperation with Oregon State University. It is a cross between the 'Chehalem' and 'Olallie' blackberries. The marionberry is currently the most common blackberry cultivar, accounting for over half of all blackberries produced in Oregon. Think "super sweet" blackberry/raspberry flavor. I'm not sure if you have one in your state, but Sheri's restaurant has it as one of their Oregon flavors ( clicky) and I think they have online ordering.
