Grocery shopping done, as is the banking. I have just (all be it late) put out the hummingbird feeders. This morning I saw a little HB flying around the thistle feeder looking for food...so I quick made some...when I got back form the store, the HB food was cool so I put it out...

In-laws here. We are all going out to eat for supper tonight...YAY

Yay for supper out. I love yogurt also, the vanilla kind.

I just came in from working 8 hours in the yard....my back won't be thanking me in the morning. I got half the spring clean up done though

Tomorrow we spend the day with Grandboy.

Lobster is very expensive here. I'll bet fresh lobster tastes wonderful. I like it but haven't ordered it out in years because 1 tail is $35.00 - 40.00 and I just can't make myself do it.

Junie hope your throat is better. Ginger ended up going to the doctor, which she NEVER does, because her throat hurt so bad. She got a shot in each cheek and a by mouth prescription. I can't remember the last time she was sick.

Sheri, I have been to the Dr already & took a 10 day course of 875mg. Amoxicillin 2 times a day. But this antibiotic just stops the growth of bacteria.. so I finished it on Monday night & by Tuesday evening my throat was sore once again, Good news is the ear did drain so I feel a bit better.

My DD had strep throat so I am thinking I did too, but still I should be better---I guess if I am not better by Wednesday, I will speak to my DRs. nurse as I need to go for blood work there anyway.

Sheri, at the moment fresh lobster is $8 a pound....The average lobster is about one pound as well. Last year at the end of the season they were $5 a pound.

Left side of my throat is better, but the right side is not...time will tell.

Just looked at my grocery store and a 2-3 oz lobster tail is $5.99. Doesn't seem like much to eat to me.

Junie I'm glad you're going back to the doctor. Maybe you can get an injection too. I think they work better for me but I have to beg to get one.

Tina sorry you're having trouble sleeping. I can't function without sleep.

I went to Shelley's for lunch today and got a present. I love getting presents.

We will see what the nurse says...I am hoping to NOT have to see a Dr. again but I am thinking they will make me see him--oh well..I DO need to get better, that is for sure.

Tina, I too hope you can sleep better tonight...My uncle always says the older a person gets the less sleep they need---I think the older we get, the less sleep we "GET" and that has nothing to do with what we need. I wish you a special Sweet dreams wish for a complete GOOD night's sleep.

I got a bouquet of flowers today from my oldest & her family and I have a bag & priority box to open in the morning. I too love getting presents..I esp. love the anticipation !!

I got 2 Nora Fleming Mini's for my garnish tray, a hand made coffee mug, and a bouquet of flowers. And I also got a phone call & a "mom" question !!!

I only slept 4 hours last night but I got a good nap in this afternoon. I hope you all had a great day !!

Hi all.

Hoping everyone had a nice Mom's Day.

DH even surprised me with a PVC wheel barrow. It is so light. GG was wheeling it around all day like a new toy

I spent the whole day yesterday finishing the spring clean up. Every thing has been raked, weeded, fertilized and mulched. I am glad to be done in time for the rain today.

Today is a day of baking and indoor work.

I do have somethings done, but I still need to plant one Tomato plant, and then weed i/2 of the paver area and then my whole rocked area, and the flower beds between the house and the rocked area...Both of these are hard jobs to accomplish....BUT first, I need to finish my indoor work...LOL.

Today's agenda is a trip to take my Mom to a Drs. appt. (check-up) and then I have a routine blood test in the same area.

My Postmaster lady loaned me her me a bottle of Thieves Oil to try today, and I must say with only using it one time, I feel better already. Does anyone know anything about using oils like this ?

I'm going to try to post while I am on here.. Hopefully Brennan will get my computer working soon, they are moving so it will be a few weeks.
Carol, I love Thieves oil...I have Thieves toothpaste, mouth wash, hand sanitizer, spray... The cleaner that you dilute in water is awesome. It cleans everything. I have a lot of essential oils (only Young Living) Andy's family sent them to me. The RC is so good for congestion. It kept Andy more comfortable during his last days.

I have never used oils although I heard they work wonders if used correctly.

I have to take grandboy for an evaluation today with a speech therapist...I'll be gone most of the day.

G-boy had his assessment completed...they said not to worry, although they recommended a 'Talk with me' program for kids/adults. They will call when the new sessions start. It is a play based group focused on rhyming songs/activities.

I did manage to spend the few dollars I made with sewing....the Mom's Day specials were still on at the garden center. So some strawberry plants and a clematis followed me home

I stopped at a different Grocery today. It was on the way home from me getting my blood test. It was a bit cheaper to shop there to my notion...I am going to remember it.

Cheaper groceries is always a good thing Junie.

It is supposed to be warmer today here as well Tina...with a chance of thunderstorms.

I'm not sure what today holds...GG has basketball after school so I'll make a fruit/veggie run at the local grocery at the same time. DH is also taking my car for it's yearly inspection this morning.

IT is supposed to rain this afternoon. But then it was supposed to rain yesterday, and all we got was an overcast sky. Not that I am complaining. We are still plenty wet here from the last "set" of rain.
