I want to grow vegetables in a raised bed. Can you suggest some vegetables that can be grown in a raised bed? Is root vegetables good for growing in a raised bed?

I grow tomatoes in one raised bed, potatoes in another, and this year I have okra in a 3rd. I grew green beans in one of these last year. This fall I'm going to grow lettuce and radishes again. I think you can grow just about anything in raised bed.

I think Bestofour is right, but if the veggie is say potatoes, please make sure the bed is deep enough. I planted potatoes in a short raised bed one year and I had a very low yield.
