I would try putting window clings on the window, as it is I imagine it looks like a clear space.

I had a cardinal run itself into one of my windows for days. I pulled the blinds, closed the curtains, taped torn pieces of colored paper and magazine pictures to the window ( I didn't have clings) and none of it worked. After 3 or 4 days it stopped. I thought the bird must have killed itself but I couldn't find it's body anywhere. I've heard people say it's lasted for weeks at their house. Keep us posted.

Because of your story, I just remembered, Sheri......mine stopped too after a bit...I am wondering if the angle of the sun played a part ? You know different angle so different reflections?

I've had more bird collisions than usual here this year....DH blames me for cleaning the windows too often.

There's a product called ABC BirdTape that you can put on the exterior surface of your windows.

Might want to think about adding a fake hawk or owl nearby. Although if you have a birdfeeder in the general area it may scare them away from that as well.
