Hi all. I had a full day of yard work yesterday. Everything looks great...much to my back's dismay  I even made a set of shutters from some scrap lumber for my garden shed...I'll paint them up today. One of our chickens have started laying as well. GG was so excited.

Good Morning.
Ah farmers eggs...what my youngest used to call them....are the best.
My shoulder is finally feeling a bit better from yard work here also. This aging thing is not for the faint of heart.
A Wal-Mart run is in my future today.

Yea I wonder if it has a virus or something. I will have my S-I-L look at it.
Just got done mopping the kitchen & laundry room floor...I think I am done for tonight..well all except for putting my laptop in it's case.

We woke up to frost this a.m. I covered my garden last night because I could smell the 'ocean air'...that usually means trouble...could be worse, it is snowing in Newfoundland this morning.

I had a wonderful Tuesday ! Ceramics, then lunch out, THEN----my friends invited me over to one of the girls house for dessert...But they had all made pavers for me...
They bought them at a garden center and then they each painted one. Now when I look at them I will think of them.

Very tired...going to sleep. DH told me to look up how to disassemble a sleep number bed (our directions are in Missouri) and for the life of me all I could find was thise fast Forward videos....and I heard him listening to his---a nice narrated infomercial type of video...too bad for me

What a lovely surprise to take with you to the new house Junie  Well, apparently the frost is gone with the 'full moon in June'....hopefully so. They are calling for hot weather today and for the week. It has only reached the high 70's so far. Have a good day ahead.

Tina, I don't mind the warm but the hot is awful. How in the world can people deal with high temps? It was in the low 90's with the humidity yesterday...it made me nauseous. It is supposed to be like this for 5 days in a row. I guess we get so much cold weather that our bodies deal better with that than this.
At least the gardens will enjoy it.

Sometimes the heat makes me feel nauseated too. I can only sit on the beach because there's a breeze. If I'm in a pool and there's no breeze I have to stay submerged like a hippo. Can't stand the heat but don't think I'd like living where there's frost the middle of June. Humidity will kill you for sure.
Junie glad you're ceramic friends sent you off in fashion. Can't wait to see your new house.

Yes today was the closing. We were there for l like 30 minutes.I have never spent so much money do fast before..
Sleep ing on the floor here tonight. My body is ready for it for sure. However my mind is wide awake. Valarie thinks we should stay here, and plenty needs to be done here but then plenty needs to be done at home as well.

Hi all. Congrats on the new home Junie...fingers crossed for a quick sale and a great price for the other I spent the afternoon at my mom's yesterday...she turned 66. She spent her birthday money we gave her on a feed of lobsters for herself for today. I have to head out in a bit to take DD shopping for GB's third birthday party. She is having it a week early so that family visiting can attend. He keeps asking everyone to buy him crayons for his gifts It seems the heat is making the garden grow overnight...I am amazed at how the seedlings have sprouted in just 48 hrs.

yep, try again later.... my SIL did that one year at Christmas--she needed a pair of off white mittens. so if a person asked that is what she told them--we all 5 of us got her off white mittens...LOL I will say goodnight now---I have to clear off this table and then go into the basement and clear out there.... too funny, I am guessing there'll be many boxes of crayons. I took him to Walmart and told him to pick out a toy. He wanted a pink Barbie trike...we found the boys version(Harley Davidson) on a top shelf. It is cute...a Fisher Price junior version for 3 to 5 yr olds. I already bought the crayons with Minion coloring books and a few summer outfits. I also bought his cake....my part is done. He then followed me home for a sleepover
