Looks good to me. !

Now for some coffee..

Tina....I answered your question that you asked in 2571..but I could not see it..so let me try again:
I was referring to myself and with Valarie's girls. It seems they take a lackadaisical approach to health care in Southern MO. The Girls have a lot of war infections...but they look say yes it is not very red and perhaps it is a vital thing and will go away in it's own...and in the mean time the girls get to suffer. With me they did not care what was wrong with my legs..( Even after the medical facility in Virginia said it needed looked into after 10 days of not being right.)

Now I get that there are drug addicts out there in the world...but a 3 yr old child does not make up pain, and I had xrays, and documented treatment...yet we both got to and get to suffer.... OK getting down from my soapbox now....

Yes, I understand the painful thing that is an ear infection. But stuffing kids full of antibiotics is not the answer all the time. With my kids I gave them Dimetap for relieving the pressure plus aspirin or tylenol for the pain. It was enough.Especially if caught early.
Happy first day of summer

My ears and throat are so sore that I'd take anything if it worked...I am so glad they at least gave a treatment to GG. Mind you, we might take antibiotics once a year.

It has been a long day, it is raining just enough to keep everything wet. I can see the mosquitoes swarming in the front window.

I was watching Naked and Afraid last night and wherever they were placed they said the mosquitoes were 20 times the size of the ones we have. Can you imagine.

I have never watched that show Sheri...they must love misery to go through that.

It is supposed to be a very windy day...I wish I felt better. I have to sand and paint GG's dressers soon. They were yard sale items that I painted pink 5 yrs ago, apparently now pink is for babies lol

Kind of like a very light turquoise...she already picked up the qt of paint from the clearance corner at the hardware store. I wish they would have had more nice colors...nothing beats getting paint for $5.

Has she chosen matching curtains, too? I'm just kidding you. I did Jonni's room while she was out of town with her aunt. Once. Only once.

Hi all,
Sounds like GG likes bright colors., We are painting one wall of guest bedroom tomorrow.. right now there are 3 blue walls and one a very bright yellow... yellow is going to be repainted a grey/blue , have to go and pick up a couple cheap sheets to turn into curtains for that room and it will be ready for the boys visit next month.. I finally found some curtains for the front window in the living room too.. lined to keep out the hot sun.. I ordered them and they will get here next Fri... since one of the boys sleeps in the living room usually it helps if I can make it dark in there... reminds me have to check out the airbed and make sure it still holds air. After the boys visit we are replacing floors.. going to put down fake wood in family and living room, and down hall , bedrooms will get new decent carpeting, before we do that office will get repainted,,, at least one wall will, someone painted two stripes in a dark brown and a light green on it about halfway up , others are green which is ok but don't like the stripes so it will be repainted the nice off white , then I will rearrange the room, hopefully get rid of the big wall unit we should have gotten rid of in Colorado.. it holds the tv but the rest is just a collector of stuff that can go elsewhere or gotten rid of , make more room to set up my sewing machine, we can hang the tv on the wall... can probably fit all the family pictures in a small filing cabinet and store it in the closet , I spent a week going thru them and got rid of all the doubles , and that cut down on a lot of them,,, still have a lot though.. if I can get hubby to make my picture shelves for the living room wall that will help too.. hopefully he and the boys can make them as a project while they are here... want 4 shelves.. one for pics of the two of us, his mom and dad and my mom and dad, then one for pics of each kids family.. I am going to buy an our family word sign to put above it and hang pics of our grandparents in frames , have one of my grandpa riding a buffalo , he's wearing a coat made of a buffalo robe too, always loved that picture.
Well off to get some cleaning done, sure wish they had come up with a self cleaning house by now! LOL!

Wow Nana....sounds like you are going to be busy. It will all look nice when you are done though.

Sounds pretty, Sunny. I just hope she wants to stick to light turquoise a goodbye we of years.

I was at my Mom's today. She does not have wifi, so there will not be any checking in until I get " home" at night.

GG's room is already painted a bluish color called wave and I already had made her curtains from the top sheet from a 'bed in the bag'....they are a light turquoise chevron print. Her room was turquoise, pink and purple....she now wants the pink gone. It is an easy fix since the dressers are due for a painting anyway. She put her pink bed at my moms when she got white bunk beds for Xmas. I'll paint the dressers turquoise and white.

Nana, microfiber sheets make beautiful curtains...they hang nice and no wrinkles.

Well, DH decided to do the errands and banking as well....he had errands to do in the same area. I wasn't disappointed since I am still feeling under the weather.

GG took down a kitten from the barn...apparently he is going to be a shed cat lol He'll go back up to the barn when Winter is upon us.

Went to my mothers today and took her to get her hair done. She's got where it's almost a fight to get her to take care of her hygiene. Not sure how much longer we can do this on our own. It's hot and very humid here. I can't stand the heat.

Sheri, is it dementia that your mom has? I hope you can get help for her kissie

It is calling for 5 days of rain...at least it keep the frost at bay. I am heading back to the clinic today...now my ears are sore with the throat. I have never been sick like I have been in the past year...I think it's time to start taking vitamins or something.

I am home ( at my sister's). Getting ready to go back to my mom's for a pseudo-slumber party. We will do slumber party things until around 8:30 pm..then we will all go home.

In the mean time, there is a storm brewing.
