Good morning!

We just got back from shopping. We were in the store..whjch was glorious..they had Christmas Music and there were toys and other gifts...and a huge tree. It was a short but nice trip.

I have been posting regularly morning and evening. And sometimes during the day, Carol. I have been at home for nearly a year. I really don't have a lot to talk about. My life really doesn't have many highs or lows. I spend a lot of time on the pandemic news but so much of that has gotten very political. And politics is verboten here. And my evening news is almost pure politics. But I have a good idea what is going on in the world right now which is better than it was when my life was taken up with diapers and report cards.

Yes I see you..it was just that the other day I had not seen you so I wondered. It is not like anyone is going to come on here and say if any of us get sick or something. I used to be able to count on my DD to do that for me..but she forgot her registration i forrmation. and with this virus she cannot.so easily just come over here and use my computer and info..

That is a good rule about politics..I do not like to talk politics or religion. I figure we all have a right to think and feel they way we do..and so that should be left alone.

I dont pay as much attention to politics as I used to. I see some things said that I know for a fact are not true..so I wonder about the rest...I am happy with how I watch/ listen now.

I remember those diaper days Tina, I kept DD in cloth diapers for many months until Winter came and she was getting a rash from using the clothes dryer to dry them.....I gave up sadly.

I am taking playdoh out of everything today, it is stuck everywhere....and to think I got GB another set for Christmas.

Ah diapers..my oldest wore cloth unless we went visiting..it was hard to take soiled diapers home. Then when it go to be 2 or more weeks between loads of diapers I switched to all disposable. Also it got to where they were so stained and I used real bleach to soak them, they got really yellow..as there was a reaction with the bleach and my iron rich water. It was 6 years between children for me, so I used all disposable on my second daughter. I told my DH it was my "hobby"

Just finished figuring out new budget for the new year... why does nothing ever go down? Not much new here .. staying home is getting pretty boring.. it's chilly here too, not as cold as most of you but to cold to sit outside...

We are doing tamales , rice and beans for Christmas Eve dinner... just us so not doing a big meal... will have leftovers for the day ... will call all the kids and face time with them... sent gift cards to everyone too... everyone is inside so they can computer shop with them...

Well it's way past lunch time but need to go eat... took a while to redo budget and need to finish up laundry too... it never seems to go away does it.... ?

Merry Christmas, Nana...I think we all have had enough of this staying home.

We've been at Gingers - came home today. I had a great time, weather was good. It's supposed to start raining here tomorrow and then the temperature is supposed to drop 20° on Friday. But somehow a tornado watch has been issued for us too. I've never heard of a tornado happening when it's 20° but it is 2020.

Sweet dreams all. My youngest daughter has my instructions to log in and say what happened to me if I am ever unable. I worry when people disappear, too.

Sheri: so glad you had a good time. That makes me smile. And yes, this is 2020 yet, so we get what we get..Sad but true..well, there is global warming we could blame as well.

We went to Shelley's today and decorated gingerbread houses and had Christmas in the garage. A little bit chilly and rainy but I'm glad we were able to get together at 6 feet distances.

GB is sleeping but GG is not, Santa is getting tired.....it is almost 11 p.m.

Merry Christmas to you all. Especially GGs trying to sneak a peek.

We Skyped for an hour of more with my youngest and her family that live on the East coast.......It was so mich fun to watch the kids open their gifts..esp. the 2 year old...she thought all gifts were for her to open, and that they all contained fun things for her ! It was adorable.I

Valarie is coming over at some point today to drop off some cheesecake for our dessert

Yep Christmas.2020 is in the books..even if we.do have 12/ more days to go thru. I will.say I hope next year is far better...

I hate doing dishes,.I think they.multiply just like laundry.
And yes I have a dishwasher but there is much I do not but into the dishwasher.

Back from the store, it was not a fun experience. Two years here and it still upsets me that I cannot find the brands I am used to.

Tomorrow will be cleaning and bringing the kids gifts upstairs. Then Wednesday it will be cooking time. Kids are coming over for supper. They are forecasting ice here for Wednesday night. I do so hope they are mistaken.
