Yes rain is nice on occasion. We are predicted ☔ rain most if not all of next week.
Right in time to ruin all the wheat fields in the area. I so hope they are mistaken on their forecast.

It is so strange to think of the different zones we live in Junie, people are just putting in their wheat and such here.

My mother has worsening dementia. She'll be 90 the 26th of this month.

I woke up and could not go back to sleep. I will read in the hopes that I can sleep a bit more yet tonight/this morning.

I am sorry to hear of your mom's dementia worsening Bestofour. Will you be staying with her for a bit?

We have started the process of bottle feeding our last little calf, I am now mixing formula three times a day....although I must say it is cheaper than what I expected it to be. I was surprised to find out that it only costs $45 for a months worth of milk. She is just too small to suckle from her momma and now her momma's milk is not producing. She should weigh at least 75 pounds at birth....she might be 45 pounds at best.

Bottle feeding is fun' at first. How long do you need to keep it up, Sunny.?

I will be rooting for the little calf, Sunny.

We just had a bad storm. Shelley's power is out. Thankfully mine isn't and I've got my phone charging just in case. We need the rain though so we better not complain too much.

They sent the kids home early yesterday due to heat, we are having a 'freakish' 48 hour weather pattern go through...it was 104*F here yesterday. Our schools do not have air conditioning.

Two nights without power is enough. But the lines have been replaced nd all is well now. (I hope!)
Today I'll get groceries and get my first shot. Then be back for the second in 3 weeks.

Covid shot on board and the groceries are all tucked away. Drove through McD's on the way home for my boy. I'm tired but no nap today so....

Two days without power in this heat -oh my gosh! So glad it's back on Tina. While I was at Ginger's I went through McD's and got a chocolate shake, something I haven't done in 25 years at least. Was pretty good.

It's gotten soooo hot again and sooo humid it's awful out there. I need some shrubs trimmed but it's gonna have to wait.

It is forecast to be very hot here beginning this weekend.

I have a dentist appointment today.

The weather has shifted again here....it is only 44*F here this morning with a frost warning for the next few days.

I love going to the dentist. No amount of brushing makes my teeth feel so clean and smooth.
