me too, Tina. What I do not like is these new washing machines do not allow you to soak clothes, and I have no deep sink at.this house. But, I do have good stain removing sprays, so I am letting some pieces lay with spray, and I will wash a load early tomorrow. But yes, it is fun..I will say Cora loves wearing dresses, so I even have a few of them as well.... Yes, such fun !

I remember the days of a line full of white diapers, they were hard to wash but a sight to see. I don't think we'll ever see a line of them again anywhere.

Yes me too. When we moved to the farm, I was so p!eased/surprised that my husband had added a clothesline to my beautiful yard. Without telling me. .

A load of laundry is in the washer (still short people clothes, Tina) and a yellow cake is in the oven !

Now there IS coffee.

Tina, do you still line dry clothes as well? I love the smell and feel of stiff, fresh sheets from the line.

I dont know.....but I would love to find out..I have not seen any lines, not even in the older houses here, so I bet not. I too love the smell of sheets and clothes when they are dried on the line. I esp like the spring when it is windy, because then the towels are soft but yet have that wonderful fresh air smell. I also found in the spring the sun bleaches out stains...yep, gonna have to check on getting a clothes line.

Do you have a local municipal department or such? I'd call for sure....then get Rod out and about staking off a path.

GG and I just went through her room to do a big purge. The woman's shelter is going to be glad to get the three boxes of 'like new' but too small and too old to play with items. The teddy bears go to the animal shelter to 'calm' the animals in cages.

Well I know some organization's that are going to be happy. You are a better person than I am. I would look at the items, remember a time that my child/grandchild loved it, and then want to keep it myself as a momento.

I think today is a play with my "murder game" type of day.

Good morning, the sun will shine today followed by four days of rain. Mother Nature never got my message to visit Tina for a bit instead.

Yea about the rain..Mother nature should really read her mail better....
There has been and will be a chance.of rain here all week but so far it rains.for.about 1 minute and that is all. They say the greatest chance is Thursday and Friday. My grands have swim lessons this week poor babies

Hi all,

I am back. we lost our internet for almost a week, called , no repair person showed.. still didn't work... not a happy camper... hubby called them again. they had the nerve to say according to them it was working fine..... uhhhh no.... asked for a supervisor... this is company hubby worked for for 44 yrs.... again said it was working fine... asked for his supervisor... finally got someone who admitted no one could find a tkt on any repair order... so informed them we had number of said tkt and requested repair again by the next day... they finally showed up and lo and behold.. someone had disconected our second line and the first one wasn't connected all the way... he fixed it and gee whiz it worked again..... they sure don't care about service anymore.... hubby is about to call his old friends who still have keys to boxes to get a set so he can fix stuff himself.... LOL! they wouldn't know since they can't tell working from nonworking evidently...

Well got to go find something to eat.. spent to long paying bills and cleaning my ofc... to easy to let it go an it was a mess... now nice an clean for a while anyway....

Talk about not caring about service - my stepdad had a stroke Friday night and is in the hospital. He is a fall risk. I was in his room today, he scooted to the edge of his bed (which wasn't an emergency situation since I was there), the fall alarm went off, it rang until we couldn't bear to listen to it anymore - about 15 minutes - I turned it off myself, no one ever came.

Oh my goodness, Sheri. I am SO sorry to hear this. I hope his care improves.

No I didn't file a complaint. He's going to rehab tomorrow so hopefully he'll improve. My mother has a caregiver every day until 4:30, then someone comes in and check on her around 7, and then again at 10:30 so he wasn't doing anything much for her anyway. But right now she's with one of my sisters.

I've got so much to do and can't get motivated to do anything.

I am here. I took off to get my second Fhizer today. And came home to nap.

Putting in a bathroom floor....and it is taking forever because of removing old glue.

Tina..so glad that you got your 2 nd vaccination, Tina. I too had the Pfizer vaccine. I was pleased with it.

I get my second Moderna shot on July 16, DH got Pfizer.

I can't find that there is much difference between the two types of shots, Sunny. Now to work on Teddy's.
