I am so happy for you. I was a hot sticky day here.
But this afternoon we had a small thunderstorm and 8/10 inch of rain. It is much cooler now.

We will get plenty of rain tomorrow with 'Elsa'. We are under a heavy rain, wind and rising tide warnings....with a 'stay at home' order.

I remember summer storms in Conn. and Michigan when i was a 14 year old traveler. I remember once in the desert here with a summer storm, fun to play in the rain in shorts and a t-shirt. . And I've seen a couple more as an adult. One a really flooding one. It was a downpour.
I would like a couple of those now.

I wish we could send you some Tina, it has been a wet day here with the worst to come through the night. We are on higher ground so we will be alright....but I feel sorry for those with roofing issues.

We got 3 inches of rain from Elsa and it rained a while yesterday and a while today. When it's not raining it's hot and muggy. My hair looks like a q-tip.

We're back to the hot and dry weather pattern. I hate it.
I can't remember if I mentioned that my stepdad had 3 strokes on June 25th. He was discharged to rehab and has already been discharged home. Today I took him and mother shopping and out to lunch. I think he's been discharged too early but I'm not in charge of that.

Sorry your stepdad was discharged too soon. I guess I am old because I remember when the Dr. decided when a patient was discharged NOT the insurance companies. I assume that is what happened ?

Sunny, my stepdad is no where near where he should be and he was discharged without outpatient physical therapy. He has told my sisters and me that he doesn't want our help anymore and that he has asked his sister to help. She is at the beach until August. So we shall see.

Tina, thank you ! I always enjoy having the kids.
Sunny, mine wore me out today as well. All 4 of them were painting and if I was not getting them clean water, I was helping them with their projects. And if I was not doing that, I was cooking...and now I get to go out and pick berries.
