This has been the weirdest season I've ever tried to grow vegetables. It's almost July and I'm just now getting squash (4 so far) and just now have baby cucumbers on the vine. Usually by this time I've harvested plenty and am trying to keep the heat from killing everything left out there. Last year and this year my tomato plants have done terribly. Rolling leaves, dried up leaves, yellow leaves - no matter what I do nothing works. I don't think I got more than 5 edible tomatoes last year. If that happens again this year I'm going to have to rethink the tomato situation. On a happy not got 4 nice size lovely potatoes from a volunteer plant. smile

Are you planting your tomatoes in the same area...your soil might be depleted of nutrients where they are if so.

We have had so much rain that many have 'lost' their gardens here, my Uncle has the worst garden this year that he has ever had.

It is so hot here I hope my tomato plants produce. There are a few green ones, but I am sure there were more by this time last year. I guess I will work on keeping them alive, and hope for a fall harvest. And yes, I have been fertilizing.

I Sunny, I change spots and amend the soil and get tons of blooms then the tomatoes are mealy or otherwise awful.

Squash and cucumbers are putting out in full now.

Mealy tomatoes can be from your nitrogen being too high.

My little garden hasn’t done great this year but the fig trees are full and I found a grape vine in the woods.

Sunny that's beautiful. Did you have frost the other night? Did it hurt your plants?
