Well last night I went to see my Granddaughters cheer with the high school cheerleaders where their mom works. 2 of the 3 were on the top of mini pyramids. It was so cute !!

Rest of the weekend will be quiet.

Friday night I went out to eat dinner with friends. Saturday that friend and I went to another friends house and helped her put stuff up in her attic. Today I went to church and this afternoon mostly a lot of nothing.

My friend who we helped had a husband who was running a ponzie scheme, unbeknownst to her, he was about to get caught, committed suicide and left her holding the bag. The Feds came in, took everything she had, including her house and car, would allow her to earn just a few hundred dollars a week until the investigation was completed, if it hadn't been for friends she would have been living on the street. 3 months after her husband killed himself her 31 year old son died of cancer. Fast forward 7 years, she meets a wonderful man, falls in love, gets married, 3 years into the marriage he's diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He's unable to help her put stuff in the attic so we did it.

Second, I will say..when I hear such stories as you have just said about your friend, it makes one realize just how fortunate they are. I am glad that your friend has such good friends as you and your other friends to be there for her.

Bestofour, your friends life is a reminder to many about how 'good' we have it.

I truly feel blessed and don't know how she keeps smiling. The daffodils are gorgeous these days but the wind is killer out there.

You are so lucky. my daffodils are only about 2 inches out of the soil. I brought my bulbs here with me from IL. I bought them when my Valarie was 3 years old. But now back in Illinois I think that there is still snow deep on the ground there. So perhaps some crocus are up there but nothing else is yet.

Daffodils already? Yup I am jealous again.

This morning I saw that the "greens" of my surprise lilies are beginning to poke thru the soil. But they have a long way to go before any flowers show their "face".

I worked 1/2 a day today and the kids are off the chain. Both our psychiatrists quit and on the 14th we got a new doctor who came in and discontinued cold turkey the kids medication and they are going through withdrawals and are crazy. I feel bad for them. One of the 12 year old boys was so agitated today and he's usually a sweet guy. He said to me "I don't even know who I am." I think it's cruel.

Yellow is my favorite color and the daffs are gorgeous.

Oh my goodness !!! What Dr. does things like that ?? Although I have heard of such things. After 2 weeks will they be put on other medications?? But at lower dosages ?

Another pretty day here. But they tell us winter is not over..

Poor kids. It must be frustrating Bestofour.

Plumbing troubles here, it is always something when owning a house. It is a poor time to have my air tank give out for my well.

I think that is the forecast for our weather for tomorrow. I wish it would make up it's mind.

Tomorrow we are getting heavy rain.

We are getting storms..beginning around midnight tonight. Right now, we are a level 3 out of 5... Bad news is we were a 2 early this morning...and there are a lot of hours between now and midnight.

Keep safe, we are covered in freezing rain this morning.

Sun is shining, but cold...which I know we are lucky it is only in the low 30's.

I fell yesterday outside, skinned my knee. With this ice, I am sure there are some broken hips somewhere.

It seems like Winter and spring are having a custody battle over the Pacific Northwest, it's been in the 50s and this weekend they're calling for snow again lol. We've been in an Atmospheric River all week, so it's been quite wet; just hoping that there isn't as much black ice out there as when it normally snows in Oregon.

I am fine James, just a bruise and scrape. We only have 1/4 of the snow we normally get. We get thaw and freezes so we are covered in ice, the weather gets stranger every year.

March usually comes in with storm after storm, instead it is coming in with melting temps. I wonder if we will finally get milder Winters??

We got a little over 2 inches of rain yesterday. Sunny hope your ice is gone and glad you're not hurt. I'm going to TN next week and the forecast isn't good. Wish I hadn't agreed to go.
