Time to find a new hairdresser.  Pouring rain here today...and the snow is melting nicely.

Put out a bucket to catch some rain for me, will you Sunny ? I will be over with some empty milk jugs to collect it perhaps on Monday my indoor plants say thank you in advance.
Sun is shining here today. We may get rain tomorrow, but are promised to definitely get rain 3 or 4 days next week. My little garden says thanks.

A bucket? Bring over a swimming pool....it is POURING. The water is running down the road. If this keeps up, I'll have no snow in a week.

Gosh that's a lot of rain. We could use a drop or two. I put out some zinnia seeds today. Hope they take off.

Well my bucket holds 7 gallons ( it is really a 2 handled garden stuff carrier.) I put it out in the spring to capture rain water for my houseplants. Once it gets really hot the 1 gallon containers grow algae so I can only collect it for so long. You DO make me wish Rod had of been able to buy me that rain barrel. You should have a few....I bet they would come in handy later this summer.

I keep planning to put an eavestrough on my garden shed(with a rain chain), then get a barrel....but it never happens. The sun is shining and it is a 'melting' day.

Yay for the sun !!! It is chilly this morning, then the winds will come and it will be in the high 80's by this afternoon. Then this weekend it will be in the low 70's. Golly I miss how we had spring when I was a kid. My Granddaughter's first ballgame is this evening.

I'll take anything over 32*F.  Yesterday I started raking where the snow melted...by the time the last of it goes, it will be all raked.

It has already rained today, and now the sun is out. We are looking at thunderstorms the next 3 days.
I will hope they are.wrong.
Washing clothes today. Where do all the dirty clothes come from ?

We got damaging winds yesterday as well, weather we usually see in August. It took the roofing right off of a 'run in' shed that we used as a shelter when we had horses. More repairs on the list. Stay safe Junie.

Yay for daffodils. I guess I need to dig mine up and redistribute the bulbs. I had lots of green this spring but like 2 flowers. Guess I know what I will be doing this fall. Good morning.

Yup, if they crowd..they will not bloom. I have a few blooming in the nook where it is in the South corner. All the other ones are just poking through the ground. I spend all day yesterday raking the old grass, then today I re-edged the flower beds and such. The snow is all gone on my lawn...but the woods still has lots. My shoulders will ache tonight. I love the fresh, sun filled air.

Until I get my cherry tomato plant and my dad's little flowerz, grow some, I am done working outside....well except for watering.

I have to make more bird houses, I have two but 20 barn swallows fighting over them. It has been quite the sight watching them. 😁

Oh my, how I miss my barn swallows
We had SO many. It was such fun to watch them sit on the wires to the barn, then swoop around to eat mosquitoes. You are so lucky. Enjoy watching them for me too !

No, you cannot win. We "may" get storms this afternoon. It sounded to me as if the storms happening is a toss up. I will hope we don't get them. BTW: sun is shining here too...for now.

Yep. I just told my Granddaughter today..one day you are wearing a coat and the next you are in shorts and a short sleeve shirt. This is not how spring was when I was in school. My, how things do change.

We got heavy thunderstorms yesterday, no damage though....thankfully. I bought my pepper and tomato seedlings. Shrinkflation hit them though, we used to get 8 cell packs, the past few years it was 6 cell pks.....yesterday it was 4 cell pks. I guess it is the only way to keep prices the same. 🥴

Glad there was no damage. We are to get them this afternoon. I hope there is no damage here as well. Especially as my plants are all looking so nice. At least they didn't technically raise the prices. You will have to begin looking for double plants in one slot. That happened to me this year when I bought my bush cucumbers. I have them in flower pots.

Sunny can you save seeds and start indoors? Lately on some flower pots I've notice it saying "these seeds are sterile". People are very greedy.
