Yes, Time does fly....I am living it and I can't believe it. I certainly don't feel any older.

Sunny and dry right now. I have to tie up my tomato plants and my blackberries. I was supposed to trim up my blackberry plants in March but with so much rain, that didn't happen. Good thing I trimmed out all that I should late last summer. So at least the main part got done.

My potatoes are blooming. So that was nice to see.

I am jealous of your blooming potatoes. I am hoping to get more in the ground tomorrow evening....if the weather cooperates.

I got the rest of my potatoes planted, the mosquitoes are out in full force though. I look like I have chicken pox.

I'll survive. I have lots of fat for them to chew on. 😝

We are under a thunderstorm watch at the moment....the sky is purple.

Yes about the thunderstorm watch. Stay safe my friend.

We have sun and heat right now..BUT the sky to the north is grey. Then our local meteorologist says later tonight more storms/rain. Then the same Friday and Saturday. Sunday is looking nice. Then rain on Monday and nice on Tuesday and Wednesday. More rain after that . Ya gotta wonder..

I have a horrible mosquito problem on one side of the house and can't figure out why. They're in the rest of the yard too but just in normal amounts. I don't have any weird plants or any water features on the infested side of the house so I don't know how to fix it.

flwr Happy Birthday Junie, I hope you had a wonderful day with cake involved. grin I think cake is the best part of a birthday. haha

I mowed, weeded and weed wacked the lawn once again. I ran out of time to put mulch down....and I fed the flies while I was out there as well. haha

Hope you've had a good day Junie.

The side with the mosquitos gets the most sun and is the hottest side. There are trees all around the yard so that's not the problem.

Yes, I did, Sheri. Then last night I went to Heidi's last regular ball game.
There is a tournament next week but those are far away games, so I am glad that I got to go to this one

Naps are good !!.

What kind of injection do you get for allergies? My mother could use that....Summer is terrible on her.

Allergy injections changed my life - literally. When my children were growing up and we'd go outside I had to keep a wet washcloth close by to put over my face, especially my eyes and nose, and a box of kleenex by my side at all times. It was misery. During the summer I stayed in the pool up to my nose in water. I've been getting injections for I don't know how many years, maybe 20, and it didn't take long before I could go outside and sort of be normal. I still have allergies and my nose runs sometimes but I no longer carry around a cooler with a washcloth for my face. I'm allergic to cats (severe reaction), certain grasses and certain trees. I've gone through testing twice, hoping my reactions would lessen because for a lot of people the injections will do that, but not for me. My reactions are still the same.

Amazing, my mother's allergies are getting worse each Summer. They tell her to take allergy meds but then she is drowsy from them.
