Well if you can't kill them, then eat them. Pull them up by their whole roots first. So they are less likely to regrow. AND why not try cutting off the flowers before they turn white, so the seeds do not spread. Just me thinking out loud.

Sorry you lost so many perennials. At least you have some left to spread where needed. ( P S Have fun doing that)

I do snip the flowers off but there are so many that they seed and spread. Some are over a foot wide....and that's just one dandelion by itself. They grow crazily here.

I tried digging them out but the taproots are so far down that it is impossible. My lawn used to be pasture....I have more variety of weeds than grass.

I divided coneflowers today.

Wow I’ve never seen such large dandelions. Thankfully mine are small enough to easily handle.

Sunny you should write a story. You can do one about the loveliness of a giant dandelion with its flower as bright as the sun or a scary story about the dandelion that takes over Canada. You can write in your spare time 😂😂😂😂😉😉😉

Too funny. When it stops raining, I'm going to go take a pic of one of them with my hand in the center. You'll see what I mean when I post it. 😉

Here's one close to my shed. I'll get a pic of bigger ones once the rain stops.

If you go missing we’ll know what happened - eaten by a dandelion.
